UBCSCC - Test & Tune - March 29th, 2015

JIBC/ YPK Driver Training

About this event

UBCSCC: Test & Tune, March 29th, 2015 - Single Pad

We would like to host a slightly different auto-X experience, also known as a "test & tune". The event is ideally geared towards more experienced individuals wishing to make adjustments to their car during the day and see immediate results. Seeing this is a UBCSCC event everyone is more than welcome to join and see what this "Auto-X" is all about. The event will be capped at 50 drivers.

How the test and tune will be run:
There will be a total of 4 work heats and one lunch break. Each work heat will work for two 45 minute shifts once in the morning (9:25-12:30) and once in the afternoon (1:25-4:30). Heats will be formet at the registration trailer in the morning. Drivers in grid will be notified when the next work heat is about to start so those working next can get out on course without delaying everyone else.

All drivers who are not on their work shift will be running in grid in a first come first serve fasion. Cars with fewer runs will be given priority in grid to make sure everyone has a fair amount of seat time. This will allow 3/4 of the drivers to have time to make adjustments yet still have time to drive.
Eg: The driver with 1 run will be placed infront of a driver with 5 runs.

Cars are allowed a maximum of 2 drivers per car.

The day will be very similar to a typical auto-x event, but with fewer individuals on course giving you more time in grid for adjusting your car.
