Turkeys in the Trunk is an opportunity to Share the Holiday Spirit and Give Back to the Communities in our Porsche Club of America Region!!!
As the Holiday Season approaches, please make plans to join fellow Shenandoah annual "Turkeys in the Trunk" event on Saturday, November 20, 2021. PCA members, friends and acquaintances are encouraged to participate. This is all about giving back to our communities!!!
For those of you who have not been to “Turkeys in the Trunk”, this is how it works: First, you load your front trunk (frunk), or your back trunk, if you have one, your roof rack, your passenger foot well.... or wherever, with frozen turkeys, canned vegetables, yams, non-perishable food items and the rest of the fixings for a Thanksgiving meal.
Registration is required for planning and a lunch count for Tip Top Restaurant.
COVID-19 GUIDELINES
As we gather for this event and in light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we ask that you continue to observe CDC guidelines for your protection and that of your PCA friends.
1 Stay home if you are sick and contact your physician for medical advice.
2. If you have no COVID symptoms:
- If fully vaccinated, but you have been exposed to a person with COVID, stay home unless you have a negative COVID test 3-5 days after your most recent exposure.
- If you are not fully vaccinated and have been exposed to someone with COVID, do not come to the event. Contact your physician for medical advice.
Event requirements
We will be supporting the Blue Ridge Food Bank, Charlottesville's core hunger-relief organization dedicated to providing neighbors in need with healthy meals.
We will meet at Flow Porsche of Charlottesville (map) at 10:30 AM. As a group, we shall drive to the Food Bank drop off location. After the food donation, we shall drive to Tip Top Restaurant (map) for lunch which will be provided by the Shenandoah Region.
Registration will close on November 18, 2021 at 11:59 PM.
