2020 Road Rally School
Saturday, March 21, 2019, 8:30 AM – 4 PM, registration at 8:30 AM sharp!
At CJ’s Lounge at Captain Joe’s Grill, at northeast corner of the US-23/8 Mile Rd exit for Whitmore Lake. Detailed directions available on the web at: www.captainjoesgrill.com/cjs_location.html.

A road rally is traversed over public roads within the legal speed limit. The challenge is to drive on time, arriving at points along the route neither early nor late (it's NOT a race). A driver and navigator team matches wits with the rallymaster to follow the route and stay on time. This school will teach you the basics of how to compete in a time-speed-distance (TSD) road rally. A couple of short practice rallies help you master the instructor presented material. You can view a page of Q&A about the school at Detroit Region website rally school info .
The tentative class schedule is:
9:00 AM – Route instructions and route following
10:00 AM – Control (checkpoint) procedures
10:30 AM – Practice rally 1 (route following)
11:30 AM – Rally 1 review and lunch
1:00 PM – Time keeping using a calculator
2:00 PM – Practice rally 2 (time keeping)
3:00 PM – Final review, Q&A, announcements

Please read carefully:
If you are registering yourself for the first time please choose Option 1 on the order form and follow the prompts.
If you are registering as a co-entrant and your partner has already registered, please choose Option 2 on the order form.
If you do not already have a MotorsportReg.com account, click the 'Create New Account' button below. You will be asked to input your member number and Region of Record. This is your SCCA Membership number and home region. You must have this information in your user profile to avoid needing a weekend membership for this event. (Also, make sure your MotorsportReg.com user name matches exactly as it appears on your SCCA Membership card... otherwise, the member verification process will not validate your membership.)
It is not necessary to register as a team. We will try to match you up with someone if you are coming alone.
