Track Day To Pave The Way is a day of exciting on track driving for anyone in the community looking to have fun for a great cause. Waterford Hills Road Racing is a Not-For-Profit Company, and this year we hope to come together to help get the repaving fund up to 100%. This event is open to the racers who regularly attend as well as anyone looking to try out Motorsports from any level. We will hold this event much like any of the Open Track Days held by the club.
We will include the normal session of Parade laps during our lunch break to include any of those who maybe just want to spectate and get a feel for whats going on.
A section of the paddock will be saved for a Show and Go style meet for anyone who doesn't want to drive on track, all of whom will be invited to take the low speed laps.
We will be using MotorsportsReg.com to take the tickets soon, where we will include all the information as well as regular updates to the event as they become available.
On-Track Pre-registration will be $150 for the day. This will include a few goodies, updated as we arrange them.
For the Park and Go Show Pre-registration will be $15 and will include goodies, updated as we arrange them.
On-Track Day-Of-registration will be $190 for the day. This will include a few goodies, updated as we arrange them.
For the Park and Go Show Day-Of-registration will be $20 and will include goodies, updated as we arrange them.
Spectators will be $1.
Food will be available, as well as refreshments.
Waterford Hills is dog friendly, but please be aware that there will be loud noises, kids, and various activities so we ask that owners be respectful by cleaning up after them and following on-leash rules.
Waterford Hills has a 74Db sound level that is strictly enforced. We will work with owners of any excessively loud cars to allow access of their vehicles.
All proceeds from this event will go directly to the club towards the Track paving fund.
Gates will be open at 8 Am. No cars on Track until 10:30 AM. There will be a short meeting for drivers at 9:45 SHARP. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Event requirements
ALL VEHICLES RUNNING ON TRACK MUST COMPLETE A BASIC TECH INSPECTION THAT WILL INCLUDE:
- FUNCTIONING SEAT BELTS
- FRONT WINDOWS DOWN ON TRACK
- NO LOOSE ITEMS IN VEHICLE
- FUNCTIONAL REAR VIEW MIRRORS
- ROLLOVER PROTECTION FOR CONVERTIBLES
- BRAKES AND BRAKE LIGHTS WORKING
- NO FLUID LEAKS
- BATTERY SECURELY FASTENED AND POSITIVE TERMINAL COVERED
- STEERING/SUSPENSION TIGHT
- WHEELS TORQUED AND HUB CAPS REMOVED
- TIRES IN GOOD CONDITION
DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:
- 2005 OR NEWER SNELL RATED HELMET
- LONG PANTS
- CLOSED-TOE SHOES
There is no required experience. If it is your first time and would like to ride with an instructor, feel free to let us know.

- Note the 2005 or + helmet is the requirement, not a 2000.
If you've ever run an OTD or a race at Waterford, it should be a very easy day for you.
For the show and go, we will park you near the Swamp turn. There will be some awards at the end of the show for Classic, Import, Domestic, Crowd Favorite, and Hosts pick. There will be a session of low speed laps during our lunch break time to give the opportunity to get out on the track for sme enjoyable laps.
