About this event
Ok, you've done the Track Day Lite and now you're ready for something a little more challenging. Track Day Heavy was designed for the driver that has participated in at least one prior open lapping day or completed a Track Day Lite. For $150.00, you will get a 25 minute class session discussing flags and passing rules before you head out on track for two 20 minute sessions. Each car (limited to 10 cars in each run group) will be released in 15 second intervals running without an instructor led car. Passing is allowed in designated passing zones and there are no speed limits. This program is open to all sports sedans and sports cars. We can provide you with a helmet if needed. You supply the speed!
There are restrictions on certain convertibles so if you are unsure whether your vehicle is allowed on track, please contact Scott Foremaster (scott@nolamotor.com) or Jim Slane (j.slane@nolamotor.com) before registering.
Please note! This event coincides with the NODRFT event scheduled at the track this day. Traffic into and around the park may be heavier than usual. Please allow yourself enough time to account for increased traffic.
Event requirements
Must have completed the Track Day Lite or have VERIFIABLE previous track day experience.
Must be 18 years of age.
Must be licensed driver.
Car must pass a minimal self tech inspection.
No passengers!
No Trucks, SUV's, or minivans
Certain convertibles must have an SCCA approved roll bar.
This event runs rain or shine.
