Have you ever wanted to drive on our track but weren't interested in participating in a competitive event or weren't ready for an open track day?
Here's your chance! Come drive in our first "Fun Run on the Track" event Sunday August 5th. There is NO timing and NO car classes to worry about - just bring your car and have fun! Cost is $50.00 per driver and the event is limited to 50 drivers.
Each driver will leave the start line from a standing start and will drive the short course configuration taking the checkered flag at Turn 13 (one car on course at a time). You then will line up and do it all over again! You will get as many runs as we can fit between 3pm and 7pm.
Schedule is as follows:
1pm-2pm Check-in (mandatory for all registrants)
2:15pm Mandatory Drivers Meeting (if you miss the meeting or are late - you cannot drive on track!)
3pm Track Hot
7pm Track Cold
Event requirements
* Each driver must sign waiver
* Each driver must be 18 years of age and have a current drivers license
* Each driver must print, fill out, and return a tech sheet (click on the link) Automobile Inspection Form NOLA.doc
* Cars leaking any fluids to the ground will NOT be allowed on track
* Each driver must wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip-flops)
* Each driver must wear a helmet (can be provided if you do not have your own)
* Each driver must wear seatbelt while on track
* NO passengers in vehicle while on track
* Some convertibles are not allowed without an approved rollbar (if you're not sure about your vehicle, ask before registering)
* This event runs rain or shine
