TRACK CLASSIC XXXI
Monday 27 April 2020
at Thunderhill
SCHEDULE:
· Gates open at 6:30 a.m.
· Sign-in and breakfast at 7:00 a.m.
· Drivers meeting at 8:00 a.m. (mandatory)
· On track from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
· Lunch from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.
· On track from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
· Gates close at 6:00 p.m.
TRACK:
We will run on the 3-mile Thunderhill circuit,
in the normal counter-clockwise direction,
using the Cyclone before lunch
and the Bypass after lunch.
FORMAT:
Two run groups, differing only in passing rules,
each in seven 30-minute sessions
(= 3 hours 30 minutes of track time per run group)
PASSING RULES:
Run Group X: Open Passing - No Point-By Required
Run Group Y: Controlled Passing - Point-By Required
ENTRIES:
In order to minimize traffic on track, entries will be limited to
40 in total and 20 per run group.
DRIVER ENTRY FEE:
$500 basic entry fee for one driver and one car in one run group;
higher entry fees for additional cars and/or additional run groups;
10% automatic discount for all drivers who register by 16 March
GUEST / OTHER ATTENDEE ENTRY FEE:
$50 per person
MEALS:
A full hot breakfast, a complete barbecue lunch, and beverages
throughout the day will be provided to all drivers and guests.
COACHING:
Private one-on-one coaching by professional instructors
is available by prior arrangement.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
The entry fees for all confirmed entrants will be charged
to their credit cards after TRACK CLASSIC XXXI is held.
However, if a confirmed entrant must cancel and does so
no later than Monday 13 April, then his or her entry
fee will not be charged. There are no other exceptions.
HOTEL:
The Holiday Inn Express in Willows has rooms and suites available on the nights
of Sunday 26 April and Monday 27 April at reduced rates available to AAA members.

Event requirements
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
ALL staff members MUST be approved for this event.
ALL attendees MUST register in advance for this event.
This applies to everyone -- drivers, passengers, guests,
crew members, staff members, driving instructors, and
spectators. Sorry, there are NO exceptions.
CAR ELIGIBILITY:
This event is open to all track-worthy cars.
Priority will be given to significant sports, racing, and formula cars.
DRIVER ELIGIBILITY:
This event is open to

· members and friends of the BMW CCA-Golden Gate Chapter
· members and friends of the Ferrari Club of America-Pacific Region

· approved guests
DRIVER EXPERIENCE:
Drivers should have no fewer than 10 days (or equivalent)
of previous track experience.

EQUIPMENT:
ALL drivers, passengers, and driving instructors are REQUIRED
to wear helmets with a Snell certification of SA2010 or newer
while on track.
