About this event
Come join us for a tour with a new twist! For the first time, we are going to end a tour at a PNWR Autocross event, then let our tour participants join the scheduled Autocross as part of the PNWR two day event in Packwood! The tour participation will be on Saturday only We'll meet at the Black Diamond Bakery in Black Diamond, WA, get organized in our groups and then take a morning drive either around Mt Rainier or via some mountain backroads, if they are "driveable". Show time is between 8:00 and 8:30, drivers meeting at 8:30, first group departs at 9:00. We have reservations for 20 people in the Black Diamond Restaurant if you want to eat a great breakfast first (pay-as-you-go), but to do that you have to be there at 7 AM when they open!! Others can just buy coffee and fresh pastries.
During/after lunch in Packwood, the Autocross instructors will be available to give course orientation rides in their cars for those who would like to learn a little more about Autocross and perhaps decide if they would like to try it on one of the future dates. The return route home is at your leisure, OR you may decide you want to spend the night in Packwood and make it a weekend. That is also on your own, but be advised that hotel space is limited since our Autocross folks will be staying overnight on Saturday..
Event requirements
Tour Requirements:
- Cancelations and refunds: Cancelations accepted until July 18th by using MSR. For any cancelations after July 18th, contact the tour leader, Greg Halverson, directly. There is no charge for this event other than paying for your own meals.
- Car club membership: To participate you should be a member of the PCA and PNWR. Porsche owners who are not members may register through the tour leader and receive a special invitation on a case-by-case basis.
- Non-Porsches on the Tour: Non-Porsches are only allowed on a case-by-case basis under extenuating circumstances (car in the shop, awaiting delivery of a Porsche, etc)

For Adult participants and attendees: All drivers and passengers must sign the Waiver Release Form, which will be provided at the tour starting point. There is no need to download, print and sign the form in advance.
- Age and driver's license restrictions: All drivers must be at least 16 years old and in possession of a valid US driver's license at the time of the Tour. A driving permit is not acceptable. For participants under 18 years old, the participant and his/her parents must sign an additional waiver and the participant must attend with at least one parent or legal guardian.
- Registering for Passengers: Please make sure to include the names of any passengers riding with you in the space provided during registration. If you have two cars on the tour each car and driver should register with a separate Motorsportreg account.
