This is a 1 day event at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows California. Typical Track Day for all level drivers and also has 2 Advanced run groups. This is the Friday before a weekend NASA event.

Because we only host events at Sonoma, Mazda, and Thunderhill Raceways, we're able to provide drivers our regional expertise in managing high quality and safe track events.
Driver 'Skill Levels' for this Event: All levels welcome
Format: Advanced Car, Mixed Car, Intermediate Car, and Low Intermediate/Novice Car
Track Configuration: Counter Clockwise and over the Top of Turn 5 in the morning, Counter Clockwise and over the Bypass at Turn 5 in the afternoon.
Event Duration: 8am to 5pm
Event requirements
All level drivers are welcome to attend this event. Because this is adjacent to a weekend NASA event, we are offering (2) Advanced Open Passing run groups - Advanced 1 and Advanced 2. These are identical in that they are open passing. Typically, drivers with faster race prep'd cars register for A1. A2 is made up of race prep'd and non-race prep'd vehicles.
The Mixed group provides drivers a combination of passing options depending on the markings of the car you are overtaking. If the car has a bright colored vinyl 'dot' on it's bumper, then it's 'Point By Passing'. If the car you are overtaking does not have a 'dot', then it's Open Passing.
The Lower Intermediate/Novice group is essentially a Mandatory Point By run group.
