Monday August 21, 2017

Join the Charlotte II group for a fun day at the BMW Performance Center. Test your skills on several events in the morning with various BMW models and watch the total eclipse of the sun in the afternoon.
The focus of this event is on improving your driving skills and having fun through a combination of driving exercises, classroom instruction and competitive events. No helmets or previous driving school experience is required. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The school is a half day event designed to explore the performance of various BMW models and just have fun. Planned sessions are the following. Subject to changed based on the Performance Center availability.
- Rat Race - 2 cars chase each other on a wet track, DSC off!
- Buffet – Take a few laps in 5 different BMW models
- Auto cross – Test yourself with timed laps

You’ll be driving various BMW standard models across the events. Yes, using their gas, their tires, and their brake pads.
Then we’ll break for lunch provided by the BMW Performance Center.
From 1pm until 4pm a solar eclipse will be racing across South Carolina. The BMW Performance Center is in the path of totality.
