SVT Cobra Mustang Club presents the SVT Superfest 2018 - on Track at Virginia International Raceway
Join the SCMC, Shelby GT500 Club, and TCUSA for a weekend of open-track fun. The "on track" portion of this event will be the newly repaved "Full Course" configuration for all three days which is a 3.27 mile track layout. Other venues include a Friday "Meet and Greet", Saturday "SVT, Mustang, and Ford Car Show" and a Saturday evening banquet.
After a long day at the track on Friday, we have a “meet and greet” set up for all participating clubs and anyone else who wants to be a part of the Superfest to socialize with SVT, Boss, Shelby and other car owners at the track. For car show aficionados, we have a car show over the weekend. The first one will be on Saturday with the SVT Clubs putting on their annual “SVT, Shelby, Mustang, and Ford Show” to be held at the fully paved north paddock. This is a popular vote/judged show so you will be competing among the finest Mustangs and Fords on the east coast. The north paddock has plenty of space available for over 300 cars. While all of this is going on, you’ll be located in a prime area to watch the action on track. The north paddock area allows viewing of turns 1 and 14 where you’ll hear the screeching of the tires and the roar of open exhaust as high performance cars round the turns in a full throttle blast.

All of this excitement will want to make you take a break and you’ll get that opportunity on Saturday night at the banquets. The SVT banquet will be held at the track (250 guest limit) with guest a speaker.
Having SCMC, Shelby GT500 Club, and TCUSA all in one location will allow you to witness a weekend that you will never want to forget. Three clubs, one location means it will truly be a Superfest!

This is a member only event. You must be a member of one of these clubs in order to attend. You will need to know your member number in order to complete the online registration. Event requirements
This event is not a race school and racing is not allowed. This is a High Performance Drivers Education event with the goal of helping you learn skills that will help you on the street and on the track. These skills include situational awareness, car control, track etiquette and protocol, and other techniques that are used by most clubs that organize track events.
This event will run rain or shine.
All helmets must be a minimum Snell SA2010 or newer and provide a completed a helmet waiver form at registration.

All participants while on track are required to wear helmets, long pants, long sleeve shirts, and fully enclosed shoes (no sandals, mules, etc.). All participants must provide a completed helmet inspection form. Please bring completed form to registration - North Paddock classroom building.

**********SVT Superfest Update - 4-19-17 *******
Our official schedule is out for this weekend's event. Everyone should be getting four 30 minute sessions per day. The weather looks like it will be scattered rain all weekend long so it could be nice one minute and rain the next. One thing about it, the track will be hot and the rain should dissipate rather quickly. I've attached a schedule to this e-mail so you can download it, print it out, and have it with you at the event.
This is a reminder of a few items before the weekend. First, the track now requires long sleeve shirts when running on track. For many years, we were able to talk the track into letting us wear short sleeve shirts but this year they are not able to bend the rules. We will have some SCMC long sleeve shirts available for purchase this weekend. If you would like to have an "official" SCMC long sleeve shirt, please e-mail me a reply stating so. The cost is $20.00 each. Sizes go from medium to XXL so sizes are limited.

Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords - will be covering the event so be sure and say hello to Michael Johnson of MMFF. This would be a great opportunity to maybe get your car in a magazine.
Novice And Intermediate Groups - We are no longer accepting any more novice or intermediate students for Saturday only as we are sold out. We are accepting students for Friday, best weather day, and Sunday. We still have a few openings for advanced, super advanced, and Saturday Hyperdrive sessions.
Thursday Night Dinner (Optional) - Many of us will be eating at Aunt Millie's for some great pizza loaded up with cheese. We should meet up there in between 7 and 730 pm. Registration opens at 5:30 Thursday in the north paddock.
Friday Night Social - There is not a Friday night social this year. We opted to allow participants to go into town or go to the Oak Tree Tavern for a Friday night dinner.
Saturday Night banquet - We will have Michael Johnson of MMFF speak for a few minutes at the dinner. We may also have Mike Puskar Sr of Carbotech brakes there to tell us a few words. You can win some really nice items at the dinner so if you want to attend, I need to know ASAP, please do not come up to me on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday and tell me you want to buy a ticket, tell me now so we don't get embarassed like we did last year when they ran out of food.
