The 2015 St. Louis Region SCCA PDX Series
A Precision Driving Experience (PDX) is an opportunity to work with an instructor and get practice in car handling and precision driving in your own car on the 1.6-mile road course at Gateway Motorsports Park. This is a non-competitive, un-timed event. Drivers are grouped by prior experience. For safety, drivers are required to wear a helmet, long sleeved shirt and long pants.

Drivers will be assigned to the NOVICE, INTERMEDIATE or ADVANCED groups based on prior driving experience and performance. All drivers will have assigned instructors. Depending upon a driver's progress the day of the event, drivers may advance to another group, based on the recommendation oF their instructor, corraboration of a second instructor plus the approval of the Chief Instructor.

Cost: $160 per Driver. All drivers must be SCCA members. Temporary Memberships are available for $15.

Event requirements

All drivers are responsible to understand and adhere to the Supplemental Regulations, which can be found at: http://stlpdx.com/uploads/2013_Supps.pdf
All drivers' vehicles are required to pass a tech inspection. All convertibles and targa top vehicles must have a roll-bar that meets the rules of SCCA TTR, or a factory hardtop. Details on the tech inspection can be found at: http://stlpdx.com/uploads/2015_stlpdx_self tech_sheet.pdf
All participants MUST wear a helmet, long sleeved shirts, long pants and full shoes. All helmets meeting the latest or two immediately preceding Snell Foundation standards (SA2010, SAH2010, SA2005, SA2000, M2010, M2005, M2000, K2010, K2005, K98), SFI standards 31.1, 41.1, 31.1A, 31.2A, 41.1A, 41.2A or British spec BS6658-85 type A/FR are acceptable.
All drivers must be SCCA members. Temporary memberships are available for $15.
No Trailers may go through the tunnel at Gateway Motorsports Park.
