GoPro Motorplex Spring Rental Kart League
EVENT DETAILS
GoPro Motorplex Rental Kart Leagues are five-week, Wednesday night miniseries in the Spring, Summer, and Fall featuring a Light and Heavy division of competitors racing our fleet of rental karts. Registration is open to ALL experience levels and NO equipment is necessary. Spectator admission is FREE!
Spring League:
Round 3: May 27th
Round 4 June 3rd
Round 5: June 10th -Championship Night
CLASS STRUCTURE:
- Lightweight Division: Driver must weigh 190+ pounds on GoPro Motorplex scale - gear included (and ballast if necessary)
- Heavyweight Division: Driver must weigh 220+ pounds on GoPro Motorplex scale - gear included (and ballast if necessary)
(Weight is available at the track for ballast)
FORMAT:
Each of the three races per Round will feature a different track configuration!
2-Lap Qualifying sets grid for 15-lap race (Cut-through at Start/Finish Line)
2-Lap Qualifying sets grid for 13-lap race (Cut-through at Turn 3)
2-Lap Qualifying sets grid for 10-lap race (Full track)
Registration Fee:
$85 per round
**NEW WAITLIST POLICY**
Starting new in 2020, we will no longer accept call-ahead waitlist requests. The waitlist will open one hour prior to the scheduled drivers meeting time. The participant wanting to join the waitlist must be present; another racer or friend cannot put your name on the list.
For the pre-registered drivers; if you are not checked in* by the scheduled drivers meeting start time, you will forfeit your spot completely and not be able to race in that event. You will receive a refund only if your spot was managed to be filled by someone on the waitlist. If you do not show up, or call ahead of time and we are unable to fill your spot, no refund will be issued. Prior arrangements are accepted; for example if you are pre-registered and know that you cannot attend, call ahead and let a staff member know. A 24 hour window of notification would be appreciated. There will be no transfer of credit to future races.
*Checked in- Meaning you have been to the lobby, checked in with a staff member, and received your wristband.

Light & Heavy Schedule: (Alternate first race of night with Light or Heavy each week)
5:50 p.m. - Drivers Meeting (Mandatory)
6:15 p.m. - Two lap qualifier/Race 1 Short Course (16 Laps)
6:45 p.m. - Two lap qualifier/Race 1 Short Course (16 Laps)
7:15 p.m. - Two lap qualifier/Race 2 Mid-Course (12 Laps)
7:45 p.m. - Two lap qualifier/Race 2 Mid-Course (12 Laps)
8:15 p.m. - Two lap qualifier/Race 3 Full-Course (10 Laps)
8:45 p.m. - Two lap qualifier/Race 3 Full-Course (10 Laps)
WEIGHT DIVISIONS:
- Lightweight Division: Driver must weigh 190+ pounds on GoPro Motorplex scale - gear included (and ballast if necessary)
- Heavyweight Division: Driver must weigh 220+ pounds on GoPro Motorplex scale - gear included (and ballast if necessary)

***Each Round is limited to 20 racers per division. First-come, first-serve.**
All participants between the ages of 16-18 must have their guardian print and sign the minor release and have it NOTARIZED! This must be brought to registration the day of the event.
