MORE TRACK TIME..... MORE CARS..... MORE SPEED.... BE HOME ON SUNDAY!!

ALL MARQUES WELCOME!!!

The Bluegrass Bimmers Chapter of the BMW CCA would like you to join us for our 3rd High Performance Driving Event at the brand new National Corvette Museum Motorsport Park (NCM).  We will be driving the "Grand Full Course" 23 turn, 3.2 mile configuration on Friday & Saturday March 25th and 26th, 2016.

The cost for this event is ONLY $350 for both days for 2 hours track time per day per run group.  Early registration is essential  for this events success. There is no "early bird" discount. No single day option.  If you are wondering which group you would run in for the single day please contact Bill Wade. Spaces are limited!

We are offering our popular 'A-Solo" run group again.  These selected advanced students will have the option of not having an Instructor in the car or attend any classroom.  To qualify, the Event's Chief Instructor will review the students driving resume as noted on MotorsportReg.  (Completeness of past driving history listed on your MSR account is essential). The review of the student's past High Performance Driving Schools events featuring in-car instruction will be considered. Review of the history over the last three-years and the numbers of days in the highest level groups, and how many of those signed off is significant. The Chapter has full discretion on acceptance of the candidate's credentials.

A "SuperSize" option will be available is scheduled each day.  It is available for the qualified A-solo students, by invitation, for an additional cost of $150 for students. This will allow the A-solo students to double their track time by driving in the Instructor sessions in addition to their regularly schedule sessions. Students interested in being considered for attending should check the appropriate box on the application form.  We will contact you after evaluating your previous experience to inform you if you have been accepted. Completeness of past driving history listed on your MSR account is essential. The Chapter has full discretion on acceptance of the candidate's credentials.

We will not charge instructors.  If you have not instructed with us before you will not be able to sign up as an Instructor until approved.  Please contact Chief Instructor Bill Wade (bill.wade@gmail.com) w/ your driving/instructing resume for evaluation.

We will also be hosting a BMW CCA Instructor Training School. All Marques drivers are welcome.  Students interested in being considered for attending should check the appropriate box on the application form.  We will require references from your club Chapter/Region Chief Instructor or review of high performance driving history.  We will contact you after evaluating your previous experience and verify references to inform you if you have been accepted. Completeness of past driving history listed on your MSR account is essential. The Chapter has full discretion on acceptance of the candidate's credentials.

All New Instructor Candidates shall have at least 15 High Performance Driving Schools featuring in-car instruction (30 instructed track days) over a MINIMUM three-year period in order to qualify for a Instructor Training School (ITS). Preference is given to BMW CCA chapter schools; the Chief Instructor (CI) may discount any school that they deems unsuitable for the purpose of preparing a student to instruct. Track time without in-car instruction is given a low priority.

Please be aware: all Instructor, "A- Solo" and "A" run group sessions will be run under the "advanced passing" passing anywhere on the track, with the 'point by' rules. All other run group level will have set passing zones with 'point by' rules.

This Driving Event is a non-timed, non-competitive school and it is not a race or practice for a race.  You need to read and understand the coverage and exclusions of your specific auto insurance policy and be prepared to assume the risk of participating in this school.

The organizing chapter carries additional liability insurance for this event, but that insurance does not cover any damages that may happen to your car or the facility.  That is your responsibility.

All required forms for the school are available on our chapter website www.bluegrassbimmers.org  You must have the Technical Inspection and Medical forms completed prior to arrival at the track.  While we may conduct spot checks of vehicles, we will not do your full inspection for you.

School Location: The track is located in Bowling Green KY, directly off I-65 at exit 28.  Check out their website at www.motorsportspark.org.
