SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AUDI CLUB ADVANCED DRIVER DAY at SPRING MOUNTAIN MOTORSPORTS RANCH
Welcome to the registration for this one day event occurring on April 1, right before our SoCal Audi Club HPDE on the weekend.
What is it?
A day of lapping with other advanced drivers on a section of the Spring Mountain track known as the Radical Loop. Registration is open to advanced drivers - those who have soloed in either C or D Run Groups - and ACNA instructors. The instructor fee is ridiculously low as a way of saying "thanks" for your continued help and participation. We're still sorting out the format for the day, and will post updates here as they emerge.

The headquarters hotel for the event is the Saddle West Hotel in Pahrump (800-433-3987). Be sure to mention you are with the Audi Club. If you have any difficulties registering in the Audi block, be sure to ask for Clay Harris at ext 140.
Event requirements
Cost, Membership and Identification:
The fee is $150 for the day for students, and $50 for instructors.
Event requirements:
BEFORE REGISTERING, please review the following requirements and information:
· Must be 18+ years old licensed driver.
· Car must pass tech inspection (you must have your car pre-tech'd).
· Failure to meet safety check will disqualify students from event and potential forfeiture of the entry fee.
· Open cars (convertibles) are not allowed unless there is a 4 point roll bar. This includes TT's, BMW Roadsters, Honda S2000s, Porsche Boxters, etc.
· Equal seat belt restraints are required for driver and instructor.
Vehicle Requirements:
· Again...no convertibles are allowed unless there is a 4 point roll bar.
· Pick-up trucks andSUV's are not allowed, due to high center of gravity.
Helmet Requirements:
Participants must wear helmets bearing Snell 2005 or later certification - SA or M helmets are acceptable. This certification label MUST BE accessible for verification for the helmet to be allowed.
Classroom Sessions:
This is a driver's education school and is not practice for any racing or speed contest. All participants are required to attend the morning drivers' meeting prior to the track going hot.
Tech Inspection:
You are must have a qualified individual/mechanic inspect your vehicle and verify its safety. This inspection should occur within four weeks of the event. There will not be an inspection at the event. This is a driving school, so good, street-worthy condition is all that is required. You are solely responsible for insuring that your vehicle is safe and capable before you come to the track. Event fees will not be refunded due to mechanical failures. Failure to present a completed Pre-Event Safety Inspection Report will disqualify you from participation in the event and your entry fee may be forfeited.

Other Requirements:
All participants must be an Audi Club North America member, present a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age. Seat belts (same type for both driver and passenger) must be securely anchored to the floor and/or stock mountings.
Garages:
Garages are not available for this event.
Medical Information Form:
Completion of the Medical Information Form is required. A sealed envelope with be provided and this form will be delivered to the rescue and safety personnel before driving begins. After conclusion of the event, your envelope and its contents will be shredded, or returned unopened to you, whichever you prefer.
