Our club has reached a milestone this year. Twenty fast years have passed since our founders – Cole, Weldon, and Phyllis Scrogham along with many other Porsche enthusiasts – started the Shenandoah Region of the Porsche Club of America. Please join us in honoring the founders and the many Past Presidents, Board members, Chairs, and volunteers that have developed our club into the robust and fun club that it is today.
The Shenandoah Region invites you to celebrate with us on Saturday, July 25 with a beautiful drive through the underlying valleys and foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains on scenic roads to fellow members Steve and Denise Englands’ beautiful farm near Lovingston, VA. We’ll start in Crozet, VA and wind our way to the party.
New members are especially welcome! You’ll get to know fellow Porsche lovers, see some great cars, and learn a little bit about the history of our club.
When we arrive at the farm, we will be treated to pulled pork and chicken barbeque with all the sides (coleslaw, sweet corn, green beans, and red potatoes), sweet tea, lemonade – oh, and birthday cake! We will have Shenandoah memorabilia provided by members and slide shows from Webmaster Jim Condon’s archives to reflect on. Hopefully many of our past presidents will be there with stories of how the club was formed and has evolved over the years. We will select a special car for the people’s choice award, so remember to dodge the bugs on the way in.
To protect the privacy of our hosts we ask that no photos be posted on the web or any social media. Please be mindful of their generosity in hosting us and allowing us to enjoy their farm for the day.
Each attending primary and affiliate member will receive a commemorative stemless wine glass with the 20th Anniversary logo etched on it. You may order additional glasses online on this registration or at the event. Depending upon quantities available at the Party, you may pick up extras onsite, or arrangements can be made for later delivery for a nominal fee. You will have the option of purchasing a 20th Anniversary commemorative polo shirt during the registration process on MotorsportReg.com.
If you need overnight lodging for Friday or Saturday night, see details later in this registration. Make your reservations by Friday, July 17 to take advantage of the discounted room rate.
