MBCA Shasta-Trinity Run

Western Region Mystery Trip

When, Where and What:

Friday, June 6, we will meet in Woodland, CA for a 9:00 AM departure, heading north for a three-day drive of about 600 miles, largely along curving mountain roads, mostly in Shasta and Trinity Counties.  Since this is a Mystery Trip, the routing, where we will stay, where we will dine and what we will do will not be divulged.  Our drive will end Sunday afternoon about 75 miles north of downtown Sacramento.

Our meeting place and departure point will be the Starbucks Coffeehouse at 2021 Bronze Star Drive in Woodland.  This is off of County Road 102, just south of I-5.  Leave I-5 at Exit 536 and head south.  Turn left at Maxwell Ave and make your way to the meeting place.  Participants should plan to arrive by 8:30 for check-in procedures and for fellowship with other participants.

The drive will be a follow-the-leader type event, with written cryptic driving instructions provided in case anyone gets separated from the group. Cell phone numbers will be collected by the Rally Master at Starbucks prior to departure.

If participants from out of the area wish to arrive the day prior to our departure, on the north side of I-5 adjacent to County Road 102 there are two fairly new motels; Hampton Inn & Suites and Holiday Inn Express.  They are both located on Freeway Drive.

The Registration Fee will cover all expenses for lodging, meals and admissions for the three days.

Registration Fee:

Single = $395.00

Double = $565.00

Dog friendly rooms available for an added $15.

Blocks of rooms and meals have been reserved to accommodate 15 autos.  If registrations exceed that number, attempts will be made to obtain additional rooms and restaurant seating.

Event requirements

Registration is open to Mercedes Benz Club of America members/spouses-partners/guests only. Drivers must be MBCA members.
