About this event
Our annual Season Finale is a 3-day event at Roebling Road Raceway. Friday is a full day of practice sessions followed by the infamous Bracket Challenge Team Race. Saturday's morning practice sessions will be followed by qualifying and Feature Races in the afternoon and our much anticipated Pig Pickin' and Oyster Roast. Sunday morning includes the VDCA Vintage Enduro with the Sunday sprint races in the afternoon. There is no additional charge for our Enduro. This year Tar Heel BMWCCA is conducting a Drivers School on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 12-13. They have graciously offered to allow our entrants to purchase additional track time between their sessions on Thursday for test and tune. After registering for our event, entrants who wish to take advantage of this extra day, will register directly with BMW at the track.
3-Day Event Pre-Registration $300. Second cars entered in a second run group, $200. Over crew is $25 per person and includes Saturday's dinner. Checks that you mail in must be received by Friday, Dec. 6th. On-line payments may be made up until on-line registration closes Tuesday, Dec. 10th.
Event requirements
All entrants must be members of VDCA and hold a current competition license and current racing medical. Entrants new to the club, must submit verification of competition credentials and a current medical with doctor’s signature. Minor drivers, 16-18, must complete a minor waiver signed by their parents or legal guardian. We honor all Vintage Motorsport Council (VMC) member licenses.
Cars must be vintage correct and race prepared . See our website for complete preparation and safety equipment guidelines. Vehicles not already on file with VDCA must be accompanied by a Vehicle Registration form. VDCA honors annual techs from VMC member clubs.
