This event has need to be cancelled. The Arctic Alaska Region active Solo membership will be meeting later the month to establish dates for 2015. This decision was made at the Membership Meeting and through calls to the active membership on Monday, April 13th, by Assistant RE Demming.
Event requirements
REGISTRATION and ENTRY FEES
All competitors are encouraged to pre-register (versus "event morning" registration) at the official online registration site: www.alaskascca.motorsportreg.com for the April 25-26th weekend of events.
Entry fees are $35 for SCCA Members each day or $55 for both days! SCCA offers a Weekend Membership of $10 which will be on top of the $35 and $55 entry fees. A Weekend Membership fee makes you an SCCA Weekend Member and will give you a $15 discount towards a full SCCA membership, a copy of "SportsCar" (our national magazine), and is valid for all SCCA-sanctioned events held during that weekend.
DRIVERS LICENSES and HELMETS
Competitors must present a valid driver’s license and sign the Event Waiver. If under 18-years-of-age, competitors will need a Minor Waiver signed by their parents (or legal guardians) and presented prior to competition. Contact the Region at 745-2013/243-2122 (9A-7P) to obtain a form prior to the event.
Helmets: All helmets meeting the latest or two immediately preceding Snell Foundation standards (SA2015, SA2010, SAH2010, SA2005, SA2000, M2015, M2010, M2005, M2000, K2010, K2005, K98) SFI standards 31.1, 41.1,31.1A, 31.2A, 41.1A, 41.2A or British spec BS6658-85 type A/FR are acceptable
Youth and Junior drivers must use helmets meeting the above, SFI 24.1 (Youth Helmets), SNELL CMR2007 (Children Motorsports Restricted). The Region will have limited sizes and quantities of “loaner helmets” at the event; first two events are free and then there is a $10 charge for use during an event.
CLASSES, CAR PREPARATION AND MODIFICATIONS
The Region utilizes the SCCA Solo Rule Book classificiations (2015 pdf-file available at www.scca.com) and also offers the optional Denali Class for those Region competitors who have been competing two years based on RTP/PAX, a Street Tire 200 (UTQG) class based on RAW time, a Novice class based on RTP/PAX, and a Ladies class based on RTP/PAX. These classes will be a part of the season long Championship Series.
STREET CATEGORY EXCLUSIONS: The following Automobiles are Excluded from Street Category for reasons of stability per Section3.1 of 2015 SCCA SOLO Rules:

Fiat 500 (non-Abarth)
Ford Fiesta (non-ST) (2011-15)
GEO Tracker & Suzuki Sidekick
Jeep CJ series
MINI Countryman
Nissan Juke
Suzuki Samurai
Scion xB (2004-06)
Scion iQ
These vehicles are not excluded from prepared or modified classes with mechanical modifications. Approval of participation contingent upon inspection by SCCA Technical Inspector, SOLO Safety Steward, and Cheif of Waivers.
Each competitor will be required to present their vehicle ready for inspection to the Tech Inspection Team immediately following Registration. Vehicles shall have mufflers, working seatbelts, and NO leaking fluids, in addition to the other items on the Tech Sheet.
