The Arctic Alaska Region of the Sports Car Club of America will be holding their Annual Meeting on Friday, December 11th, 2015.
The meeting will be held at the Spenard Community Recreation Center, 2020 W 48th, Anchorage, Alaska 99517.
Members will gather at 7PM, and we are striving to have the Call to Order at 715P. Given the facility hours, we will adjourn prior to 845P.
All members, as of the SCCA National Office Region 67 Member Report on November 25th, 2015, 5PM, have been sent ballots for the election of Regional Executive, Assistant Regional Executive and Two Trustees.
There will be no ballots at the Annual Meeting. Members will either need to hand-deliver them to the meeting and turn them in prior to the Call to Order, or they will need to affix a stamp and mail them to the Region, allowing ample time for USPO delivery to the Region's Post Office Box. Nominee articles will be going out to each Members official SCCA email not later than Monday for further review before casting your ballot.
We will have door prizes, and tickets for them will be given to current SCCA Arctic Alaska Region Members who RSVP via motorsportreg.com by Noon on Friday, December 11th. With the new year coming up and plans underway for active Road Rally and Solo programs, as well as a reboot of our RallyCross program we are asking all SCCA Arctic Alaska Region Members to RSVP here and update their information. Please review and bring current your contact numbers, emergency notification information, review the vehicles in your "garage" and — most importantly with changes at motorsportreg — your interests in Solo, Road Rally or RallyCross – you can mark multiple sanctioned venues!
Ever heard of the Silver State Classic, held annually in Nevada? Frank Roach, who has run these events as recently as September 2015, will be giving a presentation on his adventures at the Annual Meeting under the Good of the Sport Agenda item.
