Course Marshal |

Inventory, coordinate and distribute supplies and equipment for various worker specialties before, during and after each day. |

No experience necessary, but previous experience preferred. Days utilized: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday |

Driver Services |
No experience necessary, but previous experience preferred. Days utilized: Friday, Saturday, Sunday |
Works with Driver Registration to assist drivers with questions. |

Equipment |
No experience necessary, but previous experience preferred. Days utilized: Pre-event, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday |
Works with Course Marshal to distribute equipment to various worker specialties before event weekend. Retrieves equipment at end of event weekend. |

Flagging and Communication |
Minimum of Divisional license preferred (equivalent of eight (8) on-track days). Must wear long sleeves, long pants, bring protective gloves and hearing protection. Standing outdoors in the elements for long periods of time is required. Days utilized: Friday, Saturday, Sunday |
Staff one of the 14 turn stations on the race circuit. Duties include the proper use of signal flags per each sanctioning body’s rules, communication with race control, and response to incidents with fire extinguisher equipment. |

Hot Pits |
Ensures that crews working on race cars in hot pit area are maintaining safety and are within the rules. Days utilized: Friday, Saturday, Sunday |
Monitor and provide support on pit lane during on-track sessions. Ensures that race crews are safe while working on cars during a session. |

Paddock Marshal |
Club racing experience preferred. Days utilized: Pre-event, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday |
Oversees paddocks areas and the movement of race vehicles. |

Pre-Grid |
Club racing experience preferred. Days utilized: Friday, Saturday, Sunday |
Organize and stage the release of cars to track entrance by gridding them in the right order per grid sheets provided by timing and scoring. |

Race Control & Safety Dispatch |
Divisional license or pro racing experience required. This position is located within a quiet room where professionalism is expected at all times without exception. Days utilized: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday |
Operate race control radio net, administrative radio net, and properly complete race logging sheets for race log documentation. |

Radio |
Club racing experience preferred. Days utilized: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday |
Oversees and coordinates hand held radio communication equipment. |
|
Pit Firefighters |
Must be certified FF1 or other motorsports fire training and provide valid credentials. Days utilized: Friday, Saturday, Sunday |
Monitor and provide support on pit lane during on-track sessions. Full gear must be worn during race sessions. |

Safety |
Club racing experience preferred with motorsports fire training. Days utilized: Friday, Saturday, Sunday |
Monitor and provide emergency response during on-track sessions. Full gear must be worn during all race sessions, but will have the opportunity to take breaks & get out of the elements. |

Starter |
Divisional license or pro racing experience required. Days utilized: Friday, Saturday, Sunday |
Be willing and able to serve as primary starter for support series. Serve as starter observer for pro sanctioned events. Serve as timeline checkered flagger and communicator to race control from timeline for pro sanctioned events. |

Sound |
Club racing experience preferred. Days utilized: Friday, Saturday, Sunday |
Monitor sound levels on competition vehicles during on-track activities. |

Tech Inspection |
Club racing experience preferred. Days utilized: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday |
Inspect competition safety vehicles for safety equipment. Evaluates vehicles after accidents and make notes in the vehicle log book. |

Timing & Scoring |
Tracks position and lap times of race cars on course. Days utilized: Friday, Saturday, Sunday |
Keeps track of car positions in each race group. Keep track of lap times. Sets the starting grid for each race. |

Worker / MSR Registration |
No experience necessary, but previous experience preferred. |
Registration on MotorSportReg.com (MSR) for all volunteer specialties and passes along information to specialty chiefs. |
