About this event
If you've never driven a car on a close-course race track, or if you are an HPDE novice and this is your first time at Pineview Run, then the Rookie Friday program is just for you. If you have previous HPDE experience, Rookie Friday is also a great way to learn the track in a low-key environent. This is a half-day program, from 10am-1pm, or 2pm-5pm.
Rookie Friday Agenda:
- Learn our track safety procedures, the meaning of flags, and location of flag stations.
- Three sessions on track, including lead-follow, follow-lead, and solo track time.
Event requirements
Your car must have good brakes, recent tires, and must not leak any fluids. Helmets are required, and a limited number are available for rent. Before coming to Pineview Run, do the following:
- Read the safety requirements on our Tech Inspection page.
- Download and print a copy of the Tech Form and bring it with you.
- Sign the event waiver.
- We are strict with our Covid rules: read and sign the Covid policy.
