"Rolling Thunder Advanced Solo DE"
Saturday, August 15, 2015 and Sunday, August 16, 2015
NOTE: The DE event is in conjunction with the National Club Race being held the same weekend. This DE will be run with expanded passing and only experienced advanced DE drivers with solo status are allowed to participate. There will be no instructors available for this weekend. To qualify for the 2015 Rolling Thunder Solo DE you need to have been signed off with Solo status through your PCA region's DE program.

Gates open on Thursday, August 13 at 3:00PM
Registration is on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 7:00AM in the Classroom
Registration will also be available on Friday afternoon at 3:00PM in the Classroom
MANDATORY drivers' meeting in the classroom at 8:00 AM each day (Saturday and Sunday) Location: High Plains Raceway, 17 miles east of Byers on US-36

Event Registration fees:
Two days - $285. INCLUDES Saturday night dinner
Saturday only - $205. 4 sessions (no co-driver discount) INCLUDES Saturday night dinner
Sunday only - $180. 4 sessions (no co-driver discount )
EXTRA Saturday night dinner tickets in advance are $18. per person and will be $20. at the track.
For this event we are using deferred billing. Your credit card will be charged on Tuesday, August 11, 2015.

Budget Host Longhorn Motel – Byers, CO - 303-822-5205. This is an older facility, but clean and closer to the track.
Hyatt Place Denver Airport is the Club Race Headquarters hotel and is approximately 45 minutes from the track. Rooms are $84.00 per night. Reservations can be made by calling 1-888-591-1234 and ask for the Porsche club rate. You can also make reservations online at http://www.hyattplacedenverairport.com. After selcecting Arrival and Departure dates select "Special Rates" and put G-PORS in the Group Code box.

Event requirements
National PCA membership number and membership status will be verified as part of the registration process. If you do not include a valid PCA membership number (or forward a pending membership confirmation from PCA to the registrar), a $10 non-member fee will be assessed.
You must be 18 or older with a valid driver's license to participate in this event. Your driver's license will be checked at registration!
This event is open only to experienced drivers, you will need clearance from the RMR Driving Instructors for independent track driving to participate. You will be "waitlisted" until the CDIs confirm you for the event.
You must have a Snell-certified SA2005 or M2005 or newer helmet. Your helmet will be checked at Pre-Tech! It must have an RMR/PCA sticker on it. You must wear long pants and long sleeve shirt (natural fiber), and closed toe shoes while driving. For out of town drivers your helmet will be checked at Tech at the track or on the grid at top tech.
No convertibles or open cars without roll-over protection. No trucks or non-Porsche SUVs.
A tow hook needs to be installed on your front bumper before you grid your car.

Bring your helmet to Pre-Tech!
If you do not pre-tech your car there will be a $50. charge for Tech at the Track!
***If you live out of state please email the registrar for a copy of the RMR Tech Inspection Form that will need to be filled out by knowledgeable mechanic.
