RMR Charity Donations

Denver Area Location

About this event

We have all seen the news stories, people are losing their jobs daily due to COVID-19. These job losses have increased the pressure on Food Banks across the country, as well as in our local area. While we sit at home feeling blessed in the knowledge we have food to eat, so it might not be exactly what we wanted, we might be wondering what we can do to help. In the truly giving spirit of you, our RMR-PCA members, a donation page on motorsportreg has been setup so RMR members can donate to local food banks. We have chosen three local area food banks covering most of our region, so you can support the Food Bank in your area, or all three if you are feeling very fortunate and generous. The following is a little information about each Food Bank.

Food Bank of the Rockieswarehouse is the central distribution program providing food and essentials to more than 600 hunger-relief programs in northern Colorado including metropolitan Denver, the eastern Plains and western Slope as well as the entire state of Wyoming.

Food Bank of the Rockies will do everything possible to continue distributing food to people in need. We are expecting food insecurity to increase in coming weeks as many people in our community may be going without wages.

Food Bank for Larimer Countyserves the Fort Collins and Loveland areas. Each year, we provide food to an estimated 37,500 people in need through community partnerships and hunger-relief programs.

The COVID-19 pandemic is presenting challenges for organizations world-wide. The Food Bank for Larimer County is no exception. We anticipate that sourcing food through our normal channels will become more difficult with the spread of the virus.

Community Food Share’s mission is to eliminate hunger in Boulder and Broomfield Counties through engagement, collaboration, and leadership

More than 40,000 of our neighbors relied on our network of food pantries and meal programs even before COVID-19 hit. In the week following statewide school and business shutdowns, we hit record-breaking distribution numbers for our Louisville facility — evidence that as layoffs continue at a staggering rate, more and more community members are needing help for the first time.
