About this event
On January 25, 2014 we will have the rare privilege of visiting the Coffer Collection , the Stable of Thoroughbreds. Some of my favorite vintage cars in this special collection include an SJ Duesenberg owned by the late Marion Astor, a 1930 Pierce Arrow that was shown at the recent Hilton Head Concours d’Elegance, a 1948 Chrysler Town and Country (Woody Convertible), and a 1939 Packard. This along with the other 35 or so additional cars will provide a very interesting morning of viewing vintage automobiles. We will meet at 10:00 AM
We will have lunch at Aldo’s an upscale yet casual restaurant in Tucker, where you will be able to select form a limited menu. While normally closed for Saturday lunch, it will be open just for the MBCA. Todd Emily will make a presentation entitled “Preservation of Vintage Automobiles”. He will give us an overview of the hobby of Auto Collecting, complete with pictures and videos of some important collections.
Cost for this great day will be only $14 per person to cover the lunch.
