Cup Race and Time Attack Series
Come join us for an exciting weekend of Cup Racing and Time Attack at this legendary 2.5 mile road course! Spots are limited so register early. Don’t miss out!
On Saturday, Cup Racers will have 2 practice sessions, 1 split-qualifying session and 1 12-lap race. On Sunday, there will be 1 practice session, 1 split-qualifying session and 2 - 12 lap races.
There is a $50.00 fee per day for registered Cup Racers to record an official TA time that will be taken from your fastest lap of your Cup Race Qualifying time.
Time Attack will each have 1 practice and 4 timed sessions both days. Non-Porsche cars are welcome. POC Certified Instructors will be available for Time Attack students. Time Attack student drivers must contact Dwain Dement, Chief Driving Instructor, at 949-633-9455 or 949-770-2888 so that an Instructor can be assigned to work with you at no additional cost. You must call before January 31, 2015 to ensure your Instructor/Student pairing.
Check-in will be available Saturday morning in the Paddock Diner at 7:00am. Cup Racers and TA participants must present your logbook at check-in, complete with an inspection stamp from an approved POC Tech Station. WSIR is having a test day Friday for practice and tuning.
Important: A completed POC medical form verifying that driver has passed a formal physical exam is required for all Race Licensed drivers. A new physical and completed medical form is required every two years.
Vehicle tech inspection should be done before you get to the track to avoid check-in delays and last minute repairs. Tech inspection at the track will be provided by PRO Motorsports (Brad & Tyson) and Haus of Performance (Frank) on Saturday morning. The cost is $20, payable to POC, please add to your event registration on MotorsportReg.com. Dyno will be at the track on Friday and Saturday for all GT and SCR competitors. New certifications will be needed for 2015. Please plan on making time to have your car certified.
Club BBQ Saturday night in the recently renovated WSIR diner from 5:00pm-7:00pm! Our club BBQ is being sponsored by VISION Motorsport and Precision Motion! Tickets for the BBQ are available for $15 each. Please join us!

Fuel: Leaded and unleaded race fuel will be available at the track both days. Purchases can only be made by using a credit card.
Directions: I-5 North to Highway 14 North – go N/E past Palmdale and Lancaster to Rosamond, Ca. Take the Rosamond Boulevard exit and go West (left) approximately 6 miles on Rosamond Boulevard to the main track entrance.
Camping: Motorhome camping will be permitted on Friday and Saturday nights. Be prepared to dry camp. Quiet time will be enforced from midnight to 6 AM.

Friday: Main gate is open all day. This is a WSIR open test day
Saturday: Gate opens at 6:00am. Check-in and registration opens at 7:00am. There will be a MANDATORY DRIVERS MEETING at 7:30 am. Track is hot at 8:15 am.
Sunday: Gate opens at 6:00am. Track is hot from 8am to 5pm.
WSIR charges a $10.00 entrance fee at the gate. This one-time fee is good for the entire weekend.
