About this event
Come out to enjoy a fun drive with the Pocono Region PCA. This drive and dine will start in Hazleton, Pa, traverse through historic coal country, and continue down the epic PA Dragon. There are 2 driving options. The first option is ~80 miles and will end at the lunch stop near Ft Indiantown Gap. The second option will continue after lunch to Heisler's Dairy for ice cream in Tamaqua and will round out ~130 miles. There is no fee to join in on the fun, lunch and ice cream would be at the participants expense though.
Event requirements
PCA MEMBERS
Only the driver need register.
Route/Direction will be provided during the drivers meeting on the day of the event. Rain date July 7th. General way points include: Hazleton, Shamokin, Ft Indiantown Gap, Tamaqua.
Start: Hazleton Park and Ride off of exit 145 from Interstate 81 Link to starting point location Arrive at 9:30 am, drivers meeting at 9:45 am, depart at 10 am.
Lunch: Pizza Town II in Jonestown, PA Link to lunch stop location Mile marker 80. Arrive around noon, depart around 1pm
End: Heisler's Dairy in Tamaqua, Pa Link to ending point location Mile marker 125. Arrive around 2:30 pm
