Come join us for the first racing event of 2018 at the exciting Willow Springs International Raceway (The Fastest Track In The West) . We'll be hosting our customary Cup Race groups, Time Trial series, and our Performance Driving series on this legendary 2.5 mile road course.
This is the weekend where POC WSIR track records are set as the track's cold and the wind is minimal. We have new car classifications this year which means all new track records so come on down and give it your best shot. Enshrine your name and class record at the fastest track in the west, Willow Springs International Raceway.....
PDS and Time Trial will have 4 sessions both days. Non-Porsche cars are welcome. POC certified instructors will be available for all students. PDS and TT students must contact Dwain Dement, Chief Driving Instructor, at 949-633-9455 or 949-770-2888 so that an instructor can be assigned to work with you at no additional cost. You must call before Monday November 26th to ensure your instructor/student pairing.
On Saturday, Red Cup Racers will have 2 morning practices, qualifying, and 1 cup race. Orange Cup Racers will have a morning practice, qualifying session (split), and 2 -cup races. On Sunday, race groups will have 1 practice session, 1 qualifying session (split), and 1 cup race.
Our special EARLY BIRD PRICING ($50. discount) for this event expires Friday Nov. 16th at midnight. The discounted rates for 2-day registrations are $405. for Cup Racing and $350. for Time Attack and PDS. 1-day TA and PDS is $250. Last second registration at the track will be $100 higher than online pricing-no exceptions so register NOW.... 2018 POC membership is required. You can renew or join on the registration page as MSReg.....
Friday testing: Willow Springs Raceway offers Friday testing in the clockwise configuration. The cost is NOT included in your POC registration. Contact the track office for details at (661) 256-6666 or info@willowspringsraceway.com MCE Racing will have their Dynojet there Friday and all weekend...
Track entry gates will stay open until 10 PM Friday night for trailer parking access.
Saturday: Gates opens at 6:00 am. Registration and tech will open at 6:30 am. There is a mandatory Driver's Meeting at 7:15 am sharp. Track goes hot at 8:00....
Sunday: Gate opens at 6:00 am. The track goes hot at 8 am.
Annual Town Hall Meeting: Saturday night in the WSIR diner from 4:45 pm - 6 pm. All POC members are urged to attend. This is a great opportunity to discuss topics of concern with your fellow members and Board of Directors. Your participation is of great value to our club. Please attend....
Vehicle tech inspection should be done before you get to the track to avoid check-in delays and last minute repairs. Tech inspection at the track will be provided by Vali Motorsports and ProMotorsports on Saturday morning. The cost is $20, payable to POC.
Tire service: Please support Track Fast Motorsports. They come to all our events (except BW) and we don't want to lose them as we did our previous track tire vendor. Track Fast will be onsite Friday afternoon to mount your orders. They sell Yokohama, Hoosier, Toyo, Nitto and Goodyear tires. Zero sales tax and zero shipping fees if delivered to the event. Fuel: Leaded and unleaded race fuel (race cars only) will be available at the track both days.

Camping: Motorhome camping will be permitted on Friday and Saturday nights. Be prepared to dry camp. Quiet time will be enforced from midnight to 6AM.
Event cancellations received by Friday Nov 23rd @ midnight will receive a full refund. No cancellations will be accepted after that time....
