WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, plus optional Friday Practice
Cup Races and our Time Attack Series.
Come join us for an exciting weekend of Cup Racing and Time Attack at the historic Laguna Seca road course. This event is a 92db maximum sound limit that will be strictly enforced.This event always sells out so register early.
We have rented the track for Friday practice which is NOT included in base pricing for Cup Races or Time Trials. The Friday practices will be held per run group with 4 sessions per group. We might combine Red & Orange depending on turnout.
On Saturday the Orange race group will have a practice, qualifying, and 2 cup races. The Red race group will have a 2 practice sessions, qualifying, and a cup race. On Sunday the groups will each have 1 practice session, a qualifying session, and another cup race.
Time Attack groups will each have 4 sessions both Saturday and Sunday. Non-Porsche cars are welcome. POC Certified Instructors will be available for Time Attack students. Time Attack student drivers must contact Dwain Dement, Chief Driving Instructor, at: (949) 633-9455 or (949) 770-2888 so that an Instructor can be assigned to work with you at no additional cost. You must call one week before the event to insure your instructor/student pairing.
Please note the EARLY BIRD PRICING OFFER ($50 discount) for this event expires two weeks prior to the event at midnight. 2019 POC membership is required, you can renew or join in your registration page. Last minute registration at the track will be $100 higher than online pricing-no exceptions so register early. Event cancellations must be received one week prior to the event at midnight for a full refund.
Check-in and registration: Paddock entrance will be available for load in at 5:00 pm Thursday August 2nd.
Friday/Saturday Morning Check-In: Check-in will be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings in the registration garage at 7:00 AM. Track entry gates will stay open until 10 PM for trailer parking access.
Garages: There are 20 garages available to rent at $300 for Friday and Saturday nights. They will be held on a first come, first served basis.
Vehicle tech inspection should be done at an official POC Tech Inspection Station before you get to the track to avoid check-in delays and last minute repairs. Tech inspection at the track will be provided by PRO Motorsports and Vali Motorsports starting at 7:00 AM. The cost is $20 payable to POC.
Tire service: Tire service will be provided by Vali Motorsports.
Fuel: Leaded and unleaded race fuel will be available at the track both days. Purchases can only be made by using a credit card.
Camping: Overnight (dry camping) may be available in the paddock area on Friday and Saturday nights. The cost will be $100 per night and we'll need a commitment from 20 campers/motor homes to make this work. This is a direct charge from the raceway. Lodging: Due to their restrictive new policies (they want guaranteed payment for all rooms up front) we will not have a "host" hotel for this event.
Thursday Load-In: Main gate will open on Thursday afternoon at 5:30 pm for paddock entry and set up.
Friday & Saturday: Mandatory driver's meetings both mornings at 8 am sharp in front of the classroom. The track goes hot at 9 am all 3 days.
