PlankRoad Drive:

Let's "DRIVE" the Plank.

Let's get together and exercise our Porsches on Saturday, August 4. We'll meet at the Glenmore Country Club, 1750 Piper Way, Keswick, VA (map) between 11:00 and 11:30 AM, hold our drivers' meeting at 11:45 AM, and hit the road at high noon. Our route will start with stints on the Thomas Jefferson Parkway, the James Monroe Parkway and Carter's Mountain Road, followed by a long drive on Virginia's historic Plank Road. All together, the drive is 50 miles of gorgeous country backroads and will take a little over an hour. We will end the drive at Devil's Backbone Basecamp and Brewery with lunch available for those who choose to unwind there. I look forward to seeing you on August 4th.
