Pine Trees to Joshua Trees
. . . and back again.
A remembrance of Albert Padilla
Saturday, February 6th!
Let’s go see some scenery! And drive some great roads!
Plan to meet in the parking lot at the Pangea Bakery on Iron Springs and Gail Gardner Roads by 9:30am for a 9:45 am departure.
The route will cover Iron Springs, Skull Valley to Congress to US 93 to AZ State Route 97 to Bagdad for a short break. Then return to Prescott via AZ 96.
The route will be approximately 160 miles and will last about 3 hours with the break in Bagdad. You should be back in Prescott before 1 pm. There is no lunch stop planned for this drive.
With the rapid increase in Covid-19 cases, please remain in your car at the start. There will be no formal drivers’ meeting. Route and driving instructions will be emailed in advance.
The club leadership believes this is appropriate to help insure the health and safety of the members. Someone will come to your car with the driving waiver to sign.
This drive will be held to honor the memory of Albert Padilla, a club member and really nice guy who passed away recently.
Please register by January 28th..
