Peterson Automotive Museum Tour

Albertsons, Palmdale

About this event

Peterson Tour flyer.pdf California-Inland Region will meet for breakfast at Margarita's Mexican Grill in Santa Clarita on Saturday, February 20, 2016. After breakfast, we will drive to the recently remodeled Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles for a tour of their excellent facility. Although there will be a Porsche display, the museum has a little bit of everything. You can expect to see significant older cars, concept cars, hot rods, race cars and classics. Many of these are set in a diorama to showcase them in their natural habitat. The new facility has over 100,000 square feet and houses over 300 cars. You can spend as much time there as you need but a self-guided tour usually takes less than two hours and there is a cafe available should you get hungry or thirsty. Photography is permitted with hand held devices only, no tripods or mono-pods.

The northern contingent will meet at the Albertsons' Market in Palmdale at the corner of Tierra Subida Ave. and Elizabeth Lake Rd. (10th. St. West and Palmdale Blvd.) Meeting time is 8:15 a.m. and we will leave at 8:30 a.m. to drive to Margarita's for breakfast at 9:30 a.m.

Ticket prices:  Adults - $15.00. Children 3-12 - $7.00. Seniors - $12.00.

There is plenty of parking in a large, on-site structure and it is free for the first 30 minutes with validation at the welcome desk. For everything over 30 minutes, the price is $12.00.
