About this event
This should be a fun-driving event beginning in historic McDonough GA and ending at Dickeys Peach orchard in Musella, GA. We will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Truett’s Grill (ChickFilA) 1785 Jonesboro Rd., McDonough, GA 30253 (exit 221 on I-75). Cars will start the course at three-minute intervals beginning at 10:00 a.m. and follow a set of directions laced with trivia questions along our route.
This is not a race or timed event but a fun-driving event along old GA highway 23, 83 and 341. We’ll travel through Jackson, Monticello, Forsythe and Barnesville and enjoy the beauty of middle Georgia farmland as we travel on Georgia’s back roads. Once we arrive in Musella we will enjoy fresh peaches and ice cream at Dickey’s peach orchard in Musella. After leaving Musella, we will travel to Buckner’s Family Restaurant in Jackson GA for a late lunch or an early dinner. Buckner’s is very close to I-75 so when we finish our meals access to interstate will be very convenient.
You will need a navigator for this driving event. Bring a clipboard and pen or pencil to complete the trivia quiz. Winners will be determined from the trivia quiz. Prizes for first, second and third place will be awarded during lunch.
Registration fee for this event is $11.00 per car. All participants will need to sign a standard MBCA waiver form to participate in this event.
