PCASDR Member Winter Formal

Come one, come all to our annual PCASDR Member Winter Formal!  Our Winter Formal is an opportunity to get dressed up (formal), meet new members, connect with old friends, have delicious dinner and drinks, and dance the night away! Let us roll out the red carpet for you, and celebrate the evening in style! We will have a formal red carpet style photographer there to snap your photos with our PCASDR backdrop. Dinner and wine will be served, and our favorite band, Superbad will top off the night with some funk and disco tunes to help us dance the night away! This evening is even more special as we will also be celebrating the Board Members of 2015 and all of our club accomplishments, and then welcoming and introducing our 2016 Board, so that you can get to know all of the volunteers who will be serving you in 2016. This joyous event will take place on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. AND, If you still have some party left in you, the Gaslamp District is a quick stroll away!

We are hosting this evening of dinner, dancing, and celebration at the illustrious Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina! (333 W. Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101) This gorgeous venue is in Downtown San Diego, where all of the action happens! (Don't worry, they have abundant parking!) We are encouraging our members to make a staycation out of it, and explore San Diego (one of the worlds top vacation destinations!) with a new set of eyes. We have secured a super reduced rate for our members at $174/night (not including  taxes and fees). The cost of this event is $50 per person and includes a 3 course dinner, 2 glasses of wine, photos at the event, and entertainment. New member certificates are welcome and encouraged!  We have subsidized a large portion of your parking cost as well.  Self park in the abundant, attached convention center parking for $5 per car, or valet for only $9 per car.  

Plated dinners will include salad and dessert, and two glasses of wine. (A full cash bar will also be available all night.) Please be sure that when you register you choose your main course option of either Steak, Salmon or Vegetarian.  Here are descriptions of each menu item:

Grilled "Southern" Flat Iron Steak with sweet potato rosemary mash, roasted baby brussel sprouts with caramelized shallots and maple, and peppercorn bacon with BBQ'D Tennessee Whiskey Glaze.

Sweet Soy Glazed Grilled Atlantic Salmon with Forbidden Chinese and Jasmine rice, boy choy and beech mushrooms, ginger sauteed broccolini, and coconut-lemongrass curry reduction.

Sea Salt and Oregano Seared Chicken Breast with artichoke-marscapone roasted potato mash, garlic sauteed french beans, and caramelized leek and shallot herb jus.

Vegetarian Option is Parmesan Risotto: Creamy parmesan Cannoroli rice, confetti of roasted squash and root vegetables and asparagus puree.
