PCA SDR will be exploring the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum in Vista! This is a fantastic place with working exhibits and various demonstrations.
Here is a list of what you can see: Spinners Cottage, Saw Mill, Gas & Diesel Tractors, west Coast Clock and Watch Museum, Steam Tractor Engines, Farm House, Short Track Railroad, Gas Engine Row, Blacksmith and Wheelwright Shop, Weavers Barn, Steam Engine Row and more.
This is a great event to bring out the family for a day of fun Exploring a piece of history in San Diego. Stay as long as you like the Museum closes at 4 pm
We will gather at the tables and benches to have lunch together about Noon.
Located on 55 acres the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum has been in Vista since 1976. Over that period our Museum has grown to become one of the premier educational and recreational facilities in North San Diego County.
Our Museum's collection focuses on 1849 through the early 1960’s era with exhibits that actively demonstrate early American life and technology. Unique from traditional Museums, our collection is maintained in operating condition and used during a wide range of events held here on the grounds.
FYI - Parking and roadway are gravel. There are no paved areas on the museum grounds. Wear comfortable clothing, shoes and bring a hat and sunscreen.
Cost: Adults $5.50 each - includes a name badge and wrist band
Children $3.50 each ages 6-12 - includes name badge and wrist band
Lunch: You can bring your own picnic lunch or pre-purchase a lunch at registration.
Purchased lunches: $10 each - Includes 6" sub, cookie, chips, condiments and water. Selection wil be Ham, Turkey, Italian or Veggie.

Event requirements
Bring good walking shoes, comfortable clothes, sun protection and hat.
