About this event
The Holiday Season is upon us.
Start yours by watching the 2016 Holiday Season Boat Parade in the Los Angeles Harbor. http://laharborholidayafloat.org/
"This annual parade, celebrating the 54th year with the theme ‘Hollywood at the Harbor,’ marks the start of the Holiday Season here in the harbor. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti has been invited to lead this year’s parade as Grand Marshal. The Irving Johnson and Exy Johnson, the official Tall Ships and Maritime Ambassadors of the City of Los Angeles along with vessels of all shapes and sizes will participate including powerboats, sailboats and harbor working craft."
Come join us on December 3rd at the Los Angeles Yacht Club (http://www.layc.org/Home.asp) in their clubhouse for the evening. They will have their Weekend Food & Beverage Service operating, an informal menu of items from the grill starting at 6 pm with the bar open until 10 pm.
Arrive at your convenience but the Boat Parade is scheduled to pass the Cabrillo Marina between 8:00 - 8:30 pm. We will walk to an adjoining pier to observe the Boat Parade, which they say may be a mile in length.
So that we can provide the L.A. Yacht Club with a head count ahead of time, registration for this event is required. There is no fee for this event.
