Care of Your Aging Pagoda

Join us for a great Tech Talk video-teleconference (VTC) on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11 am (Eastern Daylight Time) when MBCA National Technical Advisor George Murphy will present “Care of Your Aging Pagoda”.

The newest W113s are 50 years old this year and their technology differs enough from later cars that they can present some unique maintenance challenges.  George will cover tips on what to look at on your W113 and what you should do to keep it in great shape.  Following his presentation, we have plenty of time for questions and answers on this, or any other Mercedes topic. We will be limiting registrations to only 250, so register now!  The cost will $10 per registration.

IMPORTANT ZOOM VTC SECURITY NOTE: We are very well aware of security issues that have been brought to light over the last several months concerning ZOOM VTCs. ZOOM has implemented many security fixes over the last year and we have also instituted a number of security precautions, which include a set of ground rules that will be covered at the start of the presentation. As these ground rules constitute part of our security system, it is important to follow them. 

You must login with your first and last name.  You may have to change you display name when you log into Zoom. No particpants will be admitted who are using pseudonyms i.e. such as fastbenz@email.com or benzfan@email.com, Jims ipad, or jimsphone, etc  Once you log in you should change you login name in Zoom if it is anything other than your first and last name.

It would be best to download the Zoom app beforehand to simplify connection. After you register, you will get a confirmation email.  Look for it and make certain you receive it!  This is important, because we'll using the same email address to send you the link to get into the ZOOM VTC.  We will send you the link shortly after noon on the Friday before the presentation.  If you don't see it by Friday evening, contact the registrar Gary Edwards at events@MBCApeachtree.org or call at (757) 831-9556.   We will plan to have the ZOOM meeting up by 10:40 a.m. so we can hopefully get technical issues out of the way.  Don’t wait to register, as we are limited to only 250 attendees.  For questions, contact Gary Edwards by e-mail at events@MBCApeachtree.org or by phone at (757) 831-9556.
