About this event
NCCC West Coast Regional Challenge Trophy Funkhana Event.
A Funkhana is a low speed, timed event held in a parking lot that can best be described as a playground for Corvettes. Teams will navigate a low speed course with various challenges including a parking exercise, a bean bag toss (into a trash can from a moving car) a tennis ball swap involving a slalom of traffic cones, a balloon pop and a noodle squeeze.
The exact details will be revealed at the drivers meeting the day of the event. We will meet at a local watering hole after the event for results and commiseration. The event should wrap up by 1:00 depending on the number of participants
Pacific Coast Corvettes, Corvettes West and Inland Empire Corvettes have established an inter-club challenge trophy that can be won by regional clubs participating in any of a variety of sanctioned event types. This is the first such challenge event. At least 5 cars from each club must attend to make the club eligible for the trophy. Trophies will also be awarded to class winners and anyone with a Corvette and NCCC card can attend.
Snacks and water will be available before the event (until gone) but we recommend you bring along a cooler if you want, some shade if you need it, and some folding chairs. The spectating is going to be as much fun as the participating.
Registration - $15 per team
