Open Track @ CMP - August 28

Calabogie Motorsports Park

About this event

Thank you for considering joining us for MCO's first open track day on Calabogie's amazing East Track.

MCO  prides itself on running safe, efficient, and quality events, and we hope this new event format, aimed squarely at drivers who are already signed-off at CMP, will hold some appeal. This event is open to convertibles with appropriate roll-over protection (automated, or a roll bar).

This is an open track day where drivers can come on and off the track at their leisure. As such, there is only one run group and no instruction. Therefore, it is the responsibility of each participant to assure themselves that they are familiar with the East Track at Calabogie Motorsports Park and that they are able to lap the track safely without instruction or instructor support. The Registration Form will require that you attest that you are sufficiently qualified.

Anyone exhibiting behaviour that is deemed unsafe by the organizers may be prohibited from running.

To provide an optimal balance between traffic and open track, registration spots are capped at 45 + organizers for this event.  Please note that there is a maximum car limit on the East track that will be respected at all times.  This maximum is fewer than the total number of spots available August 28th.  Although there will be plenty of track time, you may need to anticipate being held at pit-out if the track is at capacity.

We look forward to seeing you at the event. Questions may be directed to Rob Switzer, at lapping@mco.org.
