About this event
An unbelievable amount of track time for the racer. This event prededes SCCA race weekends and is available for any road racing car prepared in accordance with rules of SCCA, VRG, EMRA, PCA, SVRA, or HSR. AER, Chumpcar, and LeMons licenses are NOT accepted at Open Practice events. Passing is permitted in curves. Mock racing or overly aggressive driving is not permitted.
Requirements
Current competition license.
Full driver and vehicle safety gear must be utilized as per sanctioning body requirements.
Current vehicle log book.
Must be over 16 years old. Under 18 MUST have parent or guardian present.
Pre-Registration Cost: $225.00 per car. (plus Motorsportreg.com fees)
On-Site Registration Cost: $275.00 per car.
Event requirements
Cars are required to have all safety equipment required for racing. This includes roll bars, fire extinguishers, 5- or 6-point safety harness, numbers and class markings. Drivers must hold a valid Competition License and wear a Helmet and a Driving Suit when on the track. Crewmen may ride but must also wear the same protective gear. Cars will be Black Flagged for improper equipment or dangerous behavior.
