Omak Tour
Saturday and Sunday July 17 - 18, 2021
Have you been looking for an incredible drive, an incredible dinner at an incredible location, to spend an incredible evening with all of your PCA friends/family? Then the Omak Tour is for you!
Plan to arrive at Porsche of Spokane at 9 AM for the monthly INWR membership meeting which will last 30 to 40 minutes. The tour will depart right after the meeting (between 9:45 and 10:00 AM) on July 17, 2021. We will head north on Hwy. 395 (Sherman Pass Scenic Byway) to Kettle Falls. There, we will enjoy an informal picnic lunch (some cheese and crackers, sandwich items, and whatever else you'd like to bring). From there we will continue our Scenic Byway journey west on Hwy. 20 through Old Wauconda/Tonasket, and then down to Omak to the private property of INWR PCA member Doug Sklar, arriving about 2:00 - 3:00 PM, where we will be treated to a beautiful evening by his pool, while being served an incredible steak & salmon barbecue dinner provided by the Omak Rotary Club around 4:00 PM. Non-alcoholic beverages are included, but feel free to bring your favorite wine, beer, etc. Please make your choice of salmon or streak during the registration process. The cost of the dinner is $30.
For all of those who desire to stay the night (which we are hoping you do), lodging is available just 5 minutes from Doug's home at the very nice Best Western Peppertree Inn (a Grab and Go breakfast is included). We have secured a group rate of $119/night for either a King/2 Queen room (If you choose to stay Sunday night as well, you can do so under the group rate). Please reserve at the link here: https://www.bestwestern.com/en_US/book/hotel-rooms.48169.html?groupId=T21IX1P3.
On Sunday morning, if we can get 25+ members on this tour, we will also have the opportunity to be hosted by the Omak Elks Club for a pancake breakfast. We need a headcount so please let us know in your registration if you'd like to attend such a breakfast. Payment for the breakfast will be done at the breakfast, cash only.
We will then have a leisurely, beautiful drive back to Spokane via Hwy. 155, through Grand Coulee (or you could possibly tour the dam if you'd like), and then on to Wilbur, the historic town of Davenport and home.
If you have any reservation issues, questions, or problems with the link, please contact our Best Western group reservation representative, Khara, at 253-653-2078 (cell) or khara@peppertreeinns.com. THE CUTOFF DATE FOR THIS GROUP DISCOUNT RATE IS JUNE 28TH. Remember it is the summer travel season and rooms may go fast so please reserve your room quickly.
Please register for this event and sign waivers on Motorsportreg.com. Come with a full tank of gas, water and a picnic lunch for the lunch stop.
