Join us to celebrate our 50th anniversary as a Porsche Club of America Region.  Our host hotel is located in Las Cruces again this year.  Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces is a palatial, seven-story resort hotel featuring accommodations that boast 4-star opulence decorated in lucious Spanish Colonial inspired design, replete with eye-popping architecture and artwork throughout the property.  With a huge heated pool, 12-person Jacuzzi, private outdoor lounge areas, scenic mountain, city, and valley views, and so much more, this luxurious hotel will take your breath away.  Don't miss this year’s event!!!

The Movado Day Spa is a full salon and spa located within the hotel.  They offer a full line of salon hair services, waxing services, facials, body treatments, weight-loss treatments, mani/pedicure, collagen treatments, Botox therapy performed by a fully accredited MD (by appointment only), complete massage therapy including deep tissue massage, nail salon, and more!  The spa owner has granted a substantial discount to all OktoberFiesta participants who present their registration credentials (OktoberFiesta name badge) at the time of spa service.

Hotel Encanto offers a free shuttle service, available to all registered hotel guests, which will take you anywhere in the Las Cruces and Mesilla areas (within 10 miles).  The shuttle will pick you up and return you to the hotel with just a phone call to the dispatcher!

Room rates are drastically reduced down to just $107 (about $124 w/tax incl) and that rate is good for either a single King bed or double Queen bed room. Please make sure that you mention" PORSCHE CLUB" or "OKTOBERFIESTA 2016" when reserving your room. Only 40 rooms are blocked right now, although additional rooms may be booked if they are available.  For quick reservations, call the hotel's front desk at 575-522-4300 and when the voice prompt begins, press "0" to receive quick, courteous service from the hotel reception desk staff.

All guests renting sleeping rooms during OktoberFiesta 2016 will receive complimentary breakfast at Garduno's Restaurant and Cantina, located on the ground floor of the hotel adjacent to the atrium and fountain.  Please show your OktoberFiesta 2016 name badge to the hotel staff member at Garduno's. 

The hotel manager has granted OktoberFiesta participants reserved, taped-off parking in the North parking lot for security as well as for the "bling" factor, of course!  There is ample parking for trailers, motor homes, busses, and cars on all sides of the hotel property if you choose to park elsewhere.  All parking is conveniently located close to entrances.  Special guests will be afforded parking very close to the main entrance of the hotel.

Registration Fees:

Friday Meet & Greet - No fee event.  Participants will be received at the San Rafael Banquet Room, which is adjacent to the entrance of the beautiful hotel lounge "Azul".  Receive your registration packet and event T-shirt upon check-in and also receive a ticket for one free beverage at the Azul bar, courtesy of OktoberFiesta.  The free drink tickets are good only on Friday night.  Enjoy your libation(s) sitting by the mesmerizing outdoor fountain, indoor atrium fountain, or at a private corner of one of the many lush private patio areas located throughout the hotel property.

Saturday Drive Out and Tour -  No fee event.  The Drive Out and Tour group will gather at apx. 8:00 A.M. (tentatively) in the vicinity of the indoor atrium of the Hotel Encanto, for a quick drivers brief and route overview. Master Tour Guide, Andy Medley, will lead a scenic drive through the beautiful southern New Mexico area.  BRING YOUR CAMERA!  A  lunch opportunity and several "pit-stop" breaks will be provided along the tour route. After lunch, the tour continues and then finishes back at Hotel Encanto, leaving you with plenty of time to get ready for the Banquet evening.  Please be advised - the scenic drive-out tour occurs at the same time as the Saturday HPDE sessions at Arroyo Seco Raceway.

Saturday and Sunday - Registration for the High Performance Drivers Education and Autocross, which includes both Saturday and Sunday is just $275.00, if registered by October 1st.  The price of registration includes lunch at the track both days; one OktoberFiesta 2016 T-Shirt; and admission to the Saturday Banquet for one person.

Saturday Only - Drivers education Saturday ONLY is just $165.00, if registered by October 1st.  This registration includes lunch at the track, one OktoberFiesta 2016 T-Shirt, and admission to the Saturday Banquet for one person.

Sunday Only - Autocross Sunday ONLY is just $140.00, if registered by October 1st.  Sunday ONLY registration includes lunch at the track, one OktoberFiesta 2016 T-shirt. This registration DOES NOT INCLUDE admission to the Saturday Banquet.  

Saturday Banquet - Just $35.00 for additional attendees.  Same price for those registering for Sunday Autocross ONLY and wishing to attend the Saturday night banquet as well.

The Saturday Banquet is an elegant buffet presented at the host hotel in the beautiful San Rafael Banquet Room.   NOTE: Participants who require special dietary meals for medical reasons, or vegetarian meals, can be assured that their needs will be accommodated.  Simply purchase the buffet meal during registration and then email your special dietary requirements to Lenny Loftin at "loftin914@aol.com".  The OktoberFiesta Team works directly with the Head Chef at Hotel Encanto, who will take it from there.  The dinner buffet will be served from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.  Dessert will be offered following the dinner buffet service, at around 8:30pm.  This year features the mouth-watering all American beef lovers buffet.  The buffet meal is served with rolls with butter, and fresh brewed Tazo Iced Tea, and of course, Coffee.  Alcohol beverages are available at various locations throughout the hotel property.

 

LATE FEES Saturday & Sunday Registration for Drivers Education and Autocross  $25.00 will be added if registered after midnight October 14th. This late registration will include lunch at the track both days and admission for one person to the Saturday Banquet, but will not include an OktoberFiesta T-Shirt.

LATE FEES:  Drivers education Saturday ONLY- $20.00 will be added if registered after midnight October 14th.  This late registration will include lunch at the track on Saturday only and admission for one to the Saturday Banquet, but will not include an OktoberFiesta T-Shirt.

LATE FEES:  Autocross Sunday ONLY - $15.00 will be added if registered after midnight Oct 14th. This late registration will include lunch at the track on Sunday only, but will not include an OktoberFiesta T-Shirt.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Only pre-purchase T-shirts will be available during registration for $30.00 each.  This price is valid, and you may purchase additional T-shirts in your updated registration profile, through the close of registration on October 14th. After October 14th, a very limited number of extra event T-Shirts may be available for purchase at the event venues for $35 each, long or short sleeve.

Event requirements

 

All participants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license to drive on the track or participate in any driving event associated with OktoberFiesta.

Helmet certifications: Snell 2010 or newer.  A limited number of loaner helmets will be available at the track.

Closed-toe shoes are required.

No lug-sole type boots or shoes allowed.

Long sleeve shirt and long pants are suggested and highly encouraged, but NOT required.

Tech Sheets can be downloaded from the Carrera Region website (www.carreraregionpca.org).  Once at the Carrera Region website, scroll down and click on the "Tech Sheet" hyperlink.  Tech Sheets will be in your event packet and will be available at the track as a further convenience. Tech Sheets must be completed and turned in to the Event Registration Desk before you go on the track on Saturday or Sunday.
