On Saturday, May 14, 2016, Los Angeles Yacht Club® will host the second annual Wheels to Water event bringing together sports car enthusiasts from LAYC® and the Porsche Club of America - Los Angeles Region. Registration for this event is limited to PCA members only!!!
We will take a tour beginning in the morning from Marina del Rey to the Los Angeles Yacht Club, where PCA-LA and LA Yacht Club members will gather for a car exhibition, a great lunch and a lively discussion about shared interests, in addition to selected boat tours, courtesy of yacht club members!!
At the start of the day, PCA-LA members will meet in Marina del Rey for a tour. We will take scenic roads along the ocean, through the beach communities, and around the Palos Verdes Peninsula, en route to the Los Angeles Yacht Club. The route will take approximately an hour and a half. Then car owners from both clubs will gather their cars in the lot adjacent to the yacht club with introductions, lunch and boat tours to follow.
Registration for this event is required. Cost is $38 per person, which includes meal and entertainment. The yacht club has promised us a hearty lunch, with dessert on the docks as we tour the boats.
We will meet up in Marina del Rey at 9:00am, and the group will depart for the tour at 9:30am. Once you have registered, you will receive the address of the starting point on the confirmation page, as well as in an email. The boat tours are expected to end around 3:30pm.
