Show ’n Shine Concours
Each entered Porsche will have an assigned space under the Pavilion (limit of 40 cars). Location is downtown Harrisonburg at the Turner Pavilion, for GPS use 230 South Liberty Street Harrisonburg Va 22801. Early staging and car wash available adjacent to Pavilion, entrance to 12:45pm staging for entered Porsches is at 409 South Main Street (Harrisonburg Municipal Bldg entrance on the West side of the Pavilion).
There is ample parking within walking distance-in the Pavilion parking lot during the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market, the Municipal lot on Main St or the Water Street 2-story parking garage adjacent to the Pavilion parking lot.
Awards will be given for “People’s Choice” and “Best Fall Colors,” which includes both the car and the owners! No judging.
Madison Automotive Apprentices
Open House from 5-6:00, Silent Auction and evening meal/program will follow.
Beginning at 6:00 with appetizers and drinks in a social setting, banquet style meal to follow at 6:30 with awards and a short, fun program. The evening events will be located onsite at Madison Automotive Apprentices and will also feature several silent auction items to benefit the non-profit. Registration includes 1 ticket to the evening program. Located at 1070 Virginia Avenue, Harrisonburg Va 22807 less than 1.5 miles north of the downtown area.
Tours
Arrival Tour: Watch for more details! This tour will begin late morning on Saturday the 14th. The first leg for participants from the east side of the Region, will meet off Interstate 64 at the Louisa/Ferncliff exit and drive from there to the Nathanael Greene elementary school in Stanardsville. The second leg will meet at the Crozet elementary school for participants from the western part of the Region and drive to the Nathaniel Greene elementary school. The third leg for participants from outside the Region, will meet at the Nathaniel Greene elementary school. The large group will then take a leisurely drive to the Pavillion in Harrisonburg over the mountains on Rt. 33 into the Shenandoah Valley. Entrants will arrive in time for lunch on your own in the downtown area before the Show and Shine Concours. More details will follow on meeting location and time.
Montpelier Tour: A driving tour through the Virginia countryside to the homeplace of James Madison, father of the US Constitution and 4th President of the United States. This tour begins at the Downtown Pavilion in Harrisonburg at 9am on Sunday and leads us east over the mountains on Rt 33. Beautiful scenery and multiple walking tours of the renovated Montpelier will allow you to explore the US Constitution, Dolley Madison’s impact on the President and daily plantation life. We will visit the Exchange Café for lunch on your own and then head back home from there. Note: ticket cost onsite at Montpelier is $22 adult/ $9 child and not included in the event registration fee.
West Virginia Foliage Tour: Beginning in the morning on Sunday the 15th from the Pavilion, this driving tour will be organized by JMU students from the Madison Motorsports Club! The route features breathtaking scenery and exciting roads that will lead you to the Lake Brandywine WV area, returning back to the Harrisonburg Pavilion for lunch on your own. This time of year is peak color for the WV mountains and sure to be a beautiful drive!

Late morning, Time TBA Tour #1, Harrisonburg Pavilion via mountain scenery over Rt 33. Entrants coming from east arriving in Harrisonburg 11:30 am led by SRPCA Tour director.
11:30 Lunch on your own. See website for places to eat!
12:45 Stage cars for Show and Shine Concours in City Bldg parking lot. Wash station provided.
1-3 Show and Shine Concours under covered Pavilion max 40 cars
3-5 Time on your own, rest, take a nap or check into the hotel!
5-6:30 MAAP Open House with Silent Auction and evening meal/ program located at 1070 Virginia Avenue, Harrisonburg Va 22807
6:30pm Catered Dinner Program with awards, silent auction results, recognitions etc.
