Special Track Event at Bremerton Motorsports Park-Alfa Only & Instructors 'Play Day'
This is for Alfa Romeo's only... track, street, or show.
The club is awarding a free track day...yes, free! Zero cost track day, well almost. We request all drivers and instructors to chip in $20 per head towards the cost of the catering and the EMT.
We've had a very successful year so far with Corsa events, with great attendance and revenues much higher than we budgeted. This is the clubs way to say thanks to the many Alfisti who support the track events and can't always have as much fun as they'd like.
If you're an instructor, tech inspector, setup or clean up person, helped at registration, or have worked turns... come out to drive or enjoy ride alongs.
We'll have our Alfa run group and a separate instructor run group, with perhaps an open session all afternoon.
Event requirements
To register to DRIVE for this event you must meet the following requirements:
- Drive an Alfa or have been an instructor, tech inspector, setup or clean up person, registration worker or turn worker.
- NWARC Roll Bar Protection Rule - As of July 1, 2008, ALL makes, models and years of convertible vehicle are required to have roll protection that meets or exceeds the criteria specified in detail at http://www.nwalfaclub.com/track/track_rules.php.
- Valid driver's license (18+ years). Registrant will be asked to present license to the Track Registrar on the day of the event when checking in.
- Clean well maintained street/race vehicle. View NWARC vehicle inspection information.
- Snell 2000+ helmet. We have limited helmets to rent for $10.00 ea.
- Non-perforated leather gloves or Nomex racing gloves.
- Standard three point seatbelts. Racing harness preferred.
- Shatterproof eye protection.
- Appropriate clothing: cotton or wool long sleeves and pants, leather lace-up shoes, no synthetic clothing. Nomex racing suit preferred.
To register for "ride alongs" for this event you must have the following items:
- Have helped at our track events in some way: instructor, tech inspector, setup or clean up person, registration, or turn worker.
- For rideSnell 2000+ helmet. We have limited helmets to rent for $10.00 ea.
- Non-perforated leather gloves or Nomex racing gloves. We have leather gloves for sale - $10.
- Shatterproof eye protection.
- Appropriate clothing: cotton or wool long sleeves and pants, leather lace-up shoes, no synthetic clothing.
Or you can register just to help or come out to have fun.
