NRSCCA Showboat Showdown Presented by NAPA

Nebraska Region SCCA is proud to present the Showboat Showdown Presented by NAPA with Bonus I-80 Challenge Regional Class Races on Sunday plus Club Trials and Club Race Experience on July 26 and 27 at Motorsport Park Hastings.  This race is part of the MidAm Championship Series and will count toward SCCA Runoffs Qualifying for Runoffs Eligible Classes under the MidAm Championship Series Rules.

5:00 pm – 9:00 pm Registration Open - REGISTRATION AT TIMING BUILDING

5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Tech Open (tech located on East side of paddock)

7:00 pm CTT Mandatory Drivers' Meeting at the Guard Rail Club or Timing Building

7:30 pm - Volkswagenville Paddock Party (Approximate Time)

 

Saturday, July 26, 2014

7:30 am – 2:00 pm Registration Open - AT GUARD RAIL CLUB

8:00 am  Tech Opens

8:00 am Workers Meeting

8:15 am         CT Drivers/Instructors – Street Cars Drive Around

8:30 am Scales Open

9:00 am – 25 Minute Qualifying Session for Group 1; followed by a 20 minute practice session for CT; followed by 25 minute qualifying session for groups 2 and 3, followed by 20 minute qualifying session for CT 

Lunch break will be at approximately noon

After Lunch – 17 Lap Race for Groups 1; followed by 20 Minute CT Session; followed by 17 Lap Race for Groups 2-3, followed by 20 Minute CT Session; followed by a 17 Lap Race for Group 5.

Worker/Participant Party approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of competition.

8:00 am  Worker Meeting

8:30 am  Scales Open

9:00 am – 25 minute Qualifying session for Groups 1-5; 17 Lap Race for Group 1-3; Lunch break will be at approximately noon. 

Early Afternoon - Racing activities completed.  Have a safe drive home!

 

Supplemental Notes:

General:

A. Qualifying times for grid for Group 5 will be based on the fastest lap time for the entered competitor in their previous on-track session (in-class).

 

Club Trials Drivers:  There are additional forms that need to be filled out and presented to registration and or tech at the track. These forms are included in the Event Supplementals which can be downloaded at nrscca.com.

 

Registration will be open exclusively on Motorsportsreg.com. If you have never used Motorsportsreg.com before to register as a driver, please let us know and we will add you manually or give step-by-step instructions on getting registered.
