CAM - Classic American Muscle Classes
The CAM classes are intended for cars configured in the spirit of the 1950s to 1980s muscle cars. This class is generally limited to front-engine, rear-wheel-drive vehicles that are street-legal and that pass safety inspection. With some limitations and exclusions, such vehicles are eligible for one of the following CAM classes. See the the SCCA Solo Rules for further information about CAM class rules.

  • CAM-T, or CAM Traditional, is for muscle cars from 1954 through 1989. Examples include Camaros, Challengers, and Mustangs.
  • CAM-C, or CAM Contemporary, is for body styles from 1990 to the present. Examples include 1990 and newer model muscle cars.
  • CAM-S, or CAM Sport, is for high-powered sports cars. Examples include Corvettes, Cobras, and Vipers.

Ladies PAX

Pro PAX
Designed for experienced drivers to compete against other experienced drivers across various classes. Available for all Open Classes. Displayed Car Class is PRO.

Vehicles entered in one of the above PAX classes will run with the designated PAX class, and not with the open class. Cars running in the incorrect heat or with an incorrect class designation on their vehicles may not be scored at the descression of the event staff. Please be aware of run orders. If there are any questions, please ask.

NRSCCA also offers a non-points, non-trophy novice class (NOV). This class is intended for new participants that don't necessarily feel they are ready for open class competition.
