Enjoy a spectacular fall drive over the North Cascades Highway before the North Cascades Highway closes for the winter! This includes a stop at the Little Eatery restaurant between Rockport and Marblemount for arguably the best (and largest) cinnamon rolls anywhere! Buy one to go after splitting one at the restaurant! A second Northern Washington departure point near Bellingham will be led by Gary Barklind. Details will be announced on the PNWR website and through other communications, including e-mails to registrants.The destination is Sun Mountain Lodge near Winthrop, a world-class resort situated on 3,000 acres with amazing vistas. Want to stay close in to Winthrop? There’s a great alternate choice of lodging in Winthrop at the Hotel Rio Vista that is located on the Methow River.
Numerous informal optional tours and activities for Saturday and Sunday include:
- Saturday drives: scenic drive with tour of the Grand Coulee Dam
- Scenic drive to Concully
- Scenic drive to Osoyoos, BC with wine tasting and the biggest miniature European railroad museum in Canada (passports or enhanced Washington Driver's License REQUIRED).
- Wine tasting in Lake Chelan
- Shopping, alpine hiking, horseback riding, hotel spa, or just time to kick back and relax.

Saturday night’s group dinner will be at 7pm at Carlos1800 Mexican Grill & Cantina in Winthrop. Attendees will be able to order individually from an extensive menu and pay individually. Tax and gratuity will be added because of the group size. Menu details: Carlos 1800 Menu
Event requirements
Tour Requirements:
- Cancelations and refunds: Cancelations accepted until Oct 4th. There are no up front charges for this tour. Hotels are booked individually. Saturday dinner is pay as you go. See hotel booking deadlines in this registration form.
- Car club membership: To participate you should be a member of the PCA and PNWR. Porsche owners who are not members may register through the tour leader and receive a special invitation on a case-by-case basis.
- Non-Porsches on the Tour: Non-Porsches are only allowed on a case-by-case basis under extenuating circumstances (car in the shop, awaiting delivery of a Porsche, etc)

For Adult participants and attendees: All drivers and passengers must sign the Waiver Release Form, which will be provided at the tour starting point. There is no need to download, print and sign the form in advance.
- Age and driver's license restrictions: All drivers must be at least 16 years old and in possession of a valid US driver's license at the time of the Tour. A driving permit is not acceptable. For participants under 18 years old, the participant and his/her parents must sign an additional waiver and the participant must attend with at least one parent or legal guardian.
- Registering for Passengers: Please make sure to include the names of any passengers riding with you in the space provided during registration. If you have two cars on the tour each car and driver should register with a separate Motorsportreg account.
