The NE Chapter of the Audi Club of North America is pleased to announce our Sixth Annual “NEQ Holiday Social” in NYC on December 12 & 13, 2015.
Don’t miss The Northeast Chapter of the Audi Club’s sixth annual “NEQ Holiday Social” in NYC (fifth in NYC). The event will take place on Saturday, December 12th and Sunday December 13th, 2015.
This year, Saturday evening festivities, cocktail party and dinner, will take place at a single and very special location. We have been able to arrange for our membership to enjoy the Classic Car Club Manhattan’s premier space in Soho, in lower Manhattan. We will be drinking, dining and chatting in a very unique setting filled with a variety of exotic cars. Think Lamborghini Huracan, McLaren, 1966 Ford GT40, Ferrari 458, Aston Martin, Cayman GT4, Shelby Cobra and lots more.
The Classic Car Club is located at 250 Hudson Street, at the corner of Broome Street. Catering will be provided by Epicurean Events, who promise to bring us “the soulful cuisine and warm hospitality” of their restaurants in NYC. If you’re a foodie, check out their restaurant websites:

We will begin with cocktails from a cash bar from 6:30 – 7:30 PM, accompanied by passed appetizer hors de’oeuvres. This will be followed by passed main course small plates (think Tappas), and finally passed desserts. If you are already feeling the withdrawal symptoms from not having a buffet banquet, fear not, the menu promises to surprise and delight you. Plus, you’ll have the added advantage of being able to circulate during the meal and catch up with many of your NEQ family members.
For those able to arrive early in NYC on Saturday, a number of us will meet at the World Trade Center around 1:00 PM and go up to the observation deck. Contact Jeff or Anthony for rendezvous info if you plan to join us.
WTC ticket prices are as follows:
Standard Admission: $32 adults, $30 seniors, $26 youth.
Priority Admission (expedited entry): $54
Flex Day (expedited anytime entry): $65
If you’d like to buy tickets in advance for the observation deck, you can buy them online by clicking here: WTC. The Flex Day Ticket is highly recommended; the line can be very long on the weekends, especially during the holidays. There are a number of sights to see downtown, so if the weather permits, we’ll go for a walk after the visit to the observation deck.
Do you like pizza? Silly question, who doesn’t?
For those of you staying in the city for the weekend or living near by, we have one more component of the social planned for Sunday.
There is a fabulous Pizza Bus tour around NYC. It departs lower Manhattan at 11:00 on Sunday and visits unique pizza places in all five boros. The tour lasts approx 4 ½ hours. The Pizza Bus holds 32 people and costs $60 per person (pizza included). We have not reserved the entire bus, so it’s first come first served. Audi Club members, family, friends and prospective members are all welcome at this event.
