NEOHIO Solo Points Event #6

NEOHIO SCCA is conducting a Food Drive in conjunction with our Solo Points Event on Sunday, September 9th at the City of Eastlake lot near the corner of Vine Street and SOM Center Road, across from Classic Park.

Participants are encouraged to bring food donations that will benefit the residents of Eastlake through the Kiwanis Food Pantry. The residents of Eastlake have welcomed us into their community and allow us to enjoy autocrossing on Sunday mornings. Let’s give back and support them. The food pantry is most in need of soups, canned potatoes, juices and jellies. However, any non-expired, non-perishable food donation is appreciated.

We are encouraging all NEOHIO members to get involved. Food donations can be dropped off during the event or drop offs can be coordinated with Bill Snow (440-943-9666). If you’ve never been to one of our autocross events - stop by (with donations).

And just to make things interesting: for each can you donate, we'll subtract one cone hit during your timed runs. Donate 5 or more canned goods, and you'll be eligible for fun runs after the event.

Due to the location of this venue, there is a possibility of noise complaints from the adjacent apartment complex. We want to be respectful and considerate of our neighbors. During tech and during the event all cars will be observed for sound limits, 100 decibels measured at approximately 75 feet. If you exceed the limit, you will be given the chance to resolve the issue. If the issue is not resolved, unfortunately we will not allow you to continue running.

Please, no open headers, and at the very least your car should have mufflers. If you think your car is at risk, do what you can to resolve it either before the event or come prepared to fix it in the paddock. Finding (and keeping) good pavement is no easy task; we don't want to jeopardize our relationship with the city. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. If it is determined that you cannot run, we will work with you on a credit towards another event.

Schedule

7:30AM	Paddock opens.
8:15AM - 9:15AM	Registration & Tech.
9:30AM	Course walk. Required for novice drivers.
10:00AM	Driver's Meeting and Worker Assignments.
10:30AM	First car on course for Heat 1.
After final run, Heat 1	Break for lunch, 30-60 minutes.
After lunch	First car on course for Heat 2.
After final run, Heat 2	Course breakdown, awards and announcements at trailer, dismissal.

Want to earn $5 off your next event with NEOHIO? Want more seat time? Sign up for one of our Core Work Duties. After performing that duty at the event, NEOHIO staff will add a $5 credit to your account and give you a pass for one extra timed run that day as thanks. Say everyone gets 6 runs that day; you get 6 + 1. Not too shabby!
